December 9, 20205 yr Hi there, I'll start off by saying I'm extremely new to Unraid and I have no idea where else to go with my problem. Right now I have an array with a few drives, I have a share for school related stuff that I want to share with a friend of mine (cause we work on the same project). She uses WireGuard to connect to my home-network to acces that drive (cause I heard that a VPN is the safest way?), but I was wondering if there is a specific app or other way to connect our folders so we can share the same drive without using a VPN. (also I'm sorry if the title or explanation of my problem is a little vague)
December 9, 20205 yr Hi @UnraidNoob123 I can suggest a self-hosted cloud solution such as NextCloud. There are very good tutorials on Youtube made by @SpaceInvaderOne, including one about how to setup NextCloud in Unraid: I hope this helps and that you will enjoy doing this project. Best, OP
