Hi All, I'm totally new to this forum so please excuse my clumsiness!

I have a driveless WD My Book Duo and am trying to find a way of using it with non-WD drives. I've tried the technique of cutting pins 7 & 8 on the EEPROMS suggested for the single drive My Books but this doesn't seem to work with the Duo. Does anyone have any experience with this hardware? I have posted a picture of the board showing which chips have been 'modified'! Hope someone can help. Do let me know if you need any more info. Cheers.

    Even if you could get this to work it is not recommended for Unraid for many reasons.
