I wrote a CA template for it following the selfhosters

templating guide and submitted it to their community template repo - for free, because I thought others might find it useful.

The PR was closed within one minute of the first comment, unreviewed, as "pure AI slop": https://github.com/selfhosters/unRAID-CA-templates/pull/684

Why? Because my PR description said it was drafted with Claude, and my commits carry Co-Authored-By: Claude trailers. Nobody looked at the source, the template, or the app. The second maintainer confirmed it: the trailers themselves were the reason - "just a trust thing."

Here's my problem with that, and I say this as someone who has written software for over 30 years, with a GitHub account dating back to 2009: those trailers are disclosure. I design, review, and test everything I ship.

If I had quietly stripped the attribution, the PR would have passed. A policy that rejects disclosed AI assistance while waving through hidden AI assistance doesn't protect anyone from bad software — it just teaches

developers to stop being transparent. That's the opposite of trust.

I'm not arguing anyone must accept AI-assisted contributions. Review them. Test them. Reject them on merit. That's what maintaining means. What I'm questioning is rejection by label, unseen — and I hope that as more of

the software this community runs on is built with AI in the loop (it already is, whether disclosed or not), we find a better answer than this.

I've written about the episode in more detail on Reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/unRAID/comments/1uxy2d7/rejected_from_a_ca_template_repo_because_my/

The app itself will come to CA through my own template repo via the official submission portal, so this isn't a request for help — it's a question about what kind of contribution culture we want. I'm genuinely

interested in how other developers and users here see it.

SpaceInvader One...

He's gone missing. This is my first Unraid plugin. I’m a long-time Unraid user/supporter and would like this thread moved to Plugin Support if that’s the right place. Thank you!

---

[Plugin] Storage Guard

I’m a bit nervous and excited to share this—it’s my first plugin, and I really hope others find it useful. Testing, bug reports, and honest feedback would mean a lot.

### Why I built it

Drive prices have gotten painful. I run large Red drives (26TB class). What used to cost me around ~$380 is now well over $1,100 to replace. When a data disk fails, Unraid can keep the array online with parity emulation—but the usual next step is “buy a replacement now.”

What I actually want, at a glance on Main, is simpler:

Can I still move data off the failed (emulated) disk onto the rest of the array (or free up space another way) without being forced to buy a new drive the same day?

If free space is still high enough to evacuate that disk’s data, I have options. If it isn’t, I need to know early—not after the failure—because replacement cost is no longer casual money.

Storage Guard is that first-glance check. You set free-space thresholds for the array and each pool. When remaining free space falls to or below a threshold, the total free space bar on Main is colored yellow (warning) or red (critical). Optional Unraid notifications use the same thresholds.

### What it does

- Free-space Warning / Critical thresholds for the array and each pool

- Thresholds from real disk sizes, or custom values (e.g. 1.5T, 500G, 7.5T)

- Colors the Main free space bar (outline or solid, per array/pool)

- Optional Unraid notifications (independent of coloring)

- Settings under Settings → User Utilities → Storage Guard

Full docs: https://github.com/ibigsnet/StorageGuard/blob/main/DOCS.md

### Install

Plugins → Install Plugin, paste:

https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ibigsnet/StorageGuard/main/storageguard.plg

GitHub: https://github.com/ibigsnet/StorageGuard

### Requirements / testing

The plugin file currently allows Unraid 6.12.0+, but I’ve only tested on Unraid 7.1.3. Main free-bar coloring is built around Unraid 7’s layout, so if you’re on something else, please try it and tell me what works (or breaks)—I especially want reports from other 7.x builds, and from 6.12 if anyone tries it.

### Looking for testers / feedback

This is an early community release. As a first-time plugin author I’m especially keen on real-world testing. Please try it and report back:

- Array-only, pools-only, and mixed layouts

- Multiple named pools (any names—not only “cache”)

- Main free-bar coloring (outline vs solid)

- Alerts firing correctly

- Anything that breaks after plugin update / uninstall

When reporting a bug, please include Unraid version, brief disk/pool layout, what you expected, and what you saw (screenshots of Settings + Main help a lot).

Feature ideas are welcome too—especially around how people think about “enough free space to survive a disk loss.”

Thanks for reading, and thank you in advance to anyone who tries it. I hope Storage Guard helps you the same way I hoped it would help me.

If we move the post, can we title: [Plugin] Storage Guard - free-space thresholds so you know if a failed disk still leaves room to move data

Unraid has become boring...

I was looking at the SMART self-test results of my hard drives and noticed they're now about 4.5 years old. (I bought my first Unraid license back in 2020.) The SMART values still look good, and it made me realize that during all that time I've never really had a major issue with Unraid software itself. The GUI has always been reliable, updates have gone smoothly and worked on the first try, and the rollout of Unraid Connect went pretty well too. The only thing I struggled with a bit was the KVM/QEMU virtualization stack, but that's probably not entirely under Unraid's control.

Now, six years later, we know exactly what we need, and we've ended up with a true "sit and forget" server.

For those who are curious, the Docker containers we run include Nextcloud (the basic setup without Photos, Office, etc.), Immich, Jellyfin, Music Assistant, and Vaultwarden. Those are the core services that allow us to stay as independent as possible from the big tech companies. As for VMs, I only have a Clonezilla VM configured, and it's powered on only when I actually need it.

There were a couple of issues with the Nextcloud and Immich databases over the years that required me to recreate those containers. Fortunately, thanks to the User Scripts plugin, restoring everything from backup was quick and easy. I highly recommend the User Scripts plugin as part of any backup strategy. It's a simple, no-nonsense tool (basically a gui on top of cron) with a surprising amount of functionality. Personally, I prefer using the plugin instead of running yet another Docker container. Writing the scripts was a bit challenging at first, but there are plenty of tutorials and examples on the Unraid forums and elsewhere on the internet.

These days I stick to the KISS principle, although I have to admit it wasn't always like that. During the first two years I probably installed a new Docker container almost every weekend and rearranged my hard drives every three months or so. Honestly, I'd recommend anyone doing that too. That's how I learned Unraid inside and out, discovered what it could do, and figured out what our actual needs were.

That was four years ago.

Today, the server just quietly sits in the basement doing its job without anyone paying much attention to it. About twice a year I open the case to blow out the dust, and that's about it. I still check the GUI weekly—sometimes even daily—to see if there are updates, but that's pretty much the extent of it. There are weekends when I catch myself wondering if I should try something new with the server, but there's a golden rule: if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I still enjoy experimenting, and Unraid made that easy up to the point where the server became part of our home's infrastructure. I don't need to put a spoiler on a classic car, so to speak. A few times I've considered switching to plain Debian with Cockpit and Docker, but at the end of the day Unraid is first and foremost a NAS for file storage—and that's exactly what I need.

So yes, Unraid has become boring.

And that's a good thing.

Thanks to the entire Unraid team.

California's Digital Age Assurance Act

California Assembly Bill 1043, known as the Digital Age Assurance Act, was signed into law by Governor Gavin Newsom in October 2025 and will become operative on January 1, 2027. I am Eddie. I have tinkered with PCs since my 486DX2 PC. I hook up my own routers and such, switches, and mesh networks, separated for cams and all. So I am not a TOTAL dummy. I have been trying to get my unraid server to run nextcloud for over 2 months, using only AI for guidance. I have tried so many models, cloud and local, and am simply tired of running in circles.

In the beginning I told AI just to help me get it working. Lately I have told it to teach me how to get it working. For me, reading instructions is pointless. I can read something 10 times and still not tell you what I read. BUT, WHEN I DO something, ONCE, I usually grasp the information forever. This is I guess why I chose to be a Mechanic, wiring diagrams, and microfiche are EASY to me.

I am using a PC I built to type this. A dual boot setup each OS is on its own SSD, and they share the HDD, Linux Mint and Win 11 pro.

I used to root every Android phone I got to enable the hotspot, so I can follow guides such as the ones on XDA for rooting and other stuff.

But there are no "guides" that I have found to help me with this server.

I rescue feral cats, and have done so for 10 years. I want this server to eventually run a small website for my rescue. I have so many photos and videos stored in the "cloud" and I am SICK of paying each month when I have the same thing sitting on my floor, running, and cant use it...

I put some screenshots of where i am now. I have less than 24 hours left on this trial and when I try to extend it, it says this is registered to another user.....maybe my other email?

So I dont know what to do. ANY, helpful, suggestions, or advice will be GREATLY APPRECIATED. I really need some progress to stop me from just giving up all together.

Thank you and God Bless EVERYONE. Please stay safe as well.

Just wanted to share some thoughts and perhaps you guys could chime in on your thoughts on upgrading.

At best I'd say I'm a casual user that's barely scratched the surface of really utilizing my NAS. Currently using a rather old gaming laptop hand-me-down as tower and I've started to consider upgrading for 2 reasons.

I went into exploring the idea of unraid purely out of curiousity (since i had an extra machine laying around) and well the premise sold me.

About a day or so ago - i've gotten those rabbit-hole zoomies of wanting to tinker with a current project.

A bit of context. My current usage of the NAS is kind of all over the place if i'm being honest.

Backups - clearly. I honestly got a bit intimidated with the whole parity and pool thing when i started out and never got around to have redundancies (honesty never really needed it).

General long term storage for stuff I don't regularly need on my desktop / phone unless i'm access a project that needs those files.

Movie storage; went full Jellyfin + remote access via website so i can remotely stream it anywhere. <-- this is by far my most favorite use of it.

My access to the unraid generally is through basically 1 of 3-4 ways in general.

If i'm at my desktop - Via lan cable.

If say i'm out and about - (either at work, or at a friend's house); I use tailscale to connect with my laptop.

If say i'm at home and care to watch a movie on a tablet / device; I use jellyfin using local wifi.

if i'm watching a show at a friend's house or they want to watch with me remotely, we use a domain i setup so that they can access the Nas through Jellyfin remotely.

Now i'm not a power user that needs to run virtual machines or anything, but I am open to expanding how I use the NAS.

A few considerations on upgrading. I don't really care to build a brand new tower, but I also don't really want to keep relying on old laptops to run my NAS so i've considered looking into a ugreen device. that (DH4300 PLUS / DXP4300) models.

I recently learned that you can change it's boot priority from it's standard booting system of ugreen to the unraid itself. So the big plus on this (in theory) is that the shenanigans i've been doing on my current tower can still continue. Remote streaming, remote access using tailscale, etc. but then i realized - I have 2.5" HDDs, so that might be a bit of a yikes.

My friends and I enjoy our little private movie site style experience a lot and a few of them are willing to contribute HDDs for our movies and possibly some personal storage.

Here's the big butt of it all, and why i'm a bit hesitant.

I'm not entirely sure how I'll be able to transfer my current files into the new nas.

like is it something as simple as overriding the ugreen device with CTRL+F12, booting my current usb with the key and such after transferring the HDDs? or is this going to be one of those, you need to buy another USB and purchase another unraid key? (again, sorry if this seems like a basic question, this has always felt like it's beyond my depth)

When we tried remote transfers via tailscale to let them keep their files backups, it was so slow like 1-1.2mbps slow. I do have decent ISP speeds of 50GBps for both up and down, and my current tower is ancient (so i'm pretty sure it's a limitation of my current old machine). Supposedly it'll get better with the upgrade but keep in mind, i'm a bit of an idiot and still don't understand the use of the different categories of drives.

The DH4300 seems to only have a 4 HDD bay, the DXP4300 seems to have more power and compatibility with NVMEs. So now i'm not sure if you can tell but I hate throwing away old tech just cuz they're old and want to keep them fully utilized.

On the uses and other neat things you could do with unraid, do you guys have any suggestions?

an interest of ours is actually linking icloud devices as backups (some of them have iphones); still not sure if rclone is the best solution (we're still not certain if setting it up remotely is a thing).

compiling all of our blurays and movies into a full on shared collection.

and maybe possibly figuring out a way to remotely store ROMs for our emulators.

On the upgrading idea, do you guys have any thoughts / experience on this?

Sharing experience aside, just wanted to say thanks in advance!

Gauging interest in a potential Rackula template in the CA store

Hi everybody, I'm Gareth. Rackula is a server rack layout designer, meant to be lighter weight than similar tools like NetBox. You can use the client side only version here: https://count.racku.la/

Full disclosure, I use GenAI tools (Claude Code, CodeRabbit, CodeAnt) to build this though all PRs are reviewed by me with my real eyeballs. I mention that now because I know this is an important piece of information for many users.

It looks like this:

For context, Rackula already ships container images so the level of effort for this is relatively low. I recognize that creating this not only means the template itself, the ongoing support requirement via forum thread is important too. I wanted a simple way to spin up and manage Minecraft servers for them: pick a modpack, click install, get a running server. No more hunting for server files, staring at a Java error wondering what it means, or asking why the thing just won't work.

I loved the look and feel of MCSManager. After playing with it, I tried to back up a server and couldn't find an easy way to do it. I searched the web and found it meant using a script, tried to get it to run inside the container (which it did but not well), and then realizing it never created a zip. A lot of pain and trial and error.

I have a Claude Max plan through work, so I took a crack at adding backups myself. From there the "you know what would be cool" factor took over, and that's how we got here (which includes a GitHub and a bunch of stuff).

I know plenty of people are against using AI for this kind of thing. For me it came down to a simple trade: I knew what I wanted but didn't have the skills to build it, and between work, family, and life I had no time to teach myself. So I used AI. It makes my life easier. My kids and I can jump into any modpack they saw on YouTube and play together, without the complexity.

What it does now

Modpack browser: search and install from CurseForge, Modrinth, and FTB in one click.

Custom builder: Vanilla, Paper, Purpur, Folia, Fabric, Forge, NeoForge, Quilt, plus Bedrock, with live version lists. (Who knew there were so many.)

Per-instance update: move a pack to a newer version, with an automatic backup that keeps your world.

Reset and reinstall from the same builder.

Auto-Java: grabs the right JRE per pack, so you stop hitting a wall of errors.

Auto-Port management: gives each instance its own free server port for both Java and Bedrock, so your servers never fight over the same one.

Backups: manual and scheduled, with restore. (This started all of this.)

Players over RCON, live CPU/RAM/player metrics, MOTD editor, server icon, autostart delay, shutdown timeout.

(screenshots

About 2 months ago i created a pfSense router for my home setup This is a stand alone system that is bare metal and not a VM of any sort. Ever since then i cannot get the plugins to register there are updates needed, the plugins all have status - Unknown. The OSupdate area in tools is also non-functional. Is there anyone here that has a pfSense router working nicely with unraid that would be willing to give me some pointers?

I also have this error in the Fix common problems section "Unable to communicate with GitHub.com" along with every Plugin that needs updated listed there as well. I understand why it is throwing that last error but i need a way to fix it and have not found a good solution as of yet. The reason is that pfSense stops all ping requests as far as i can tell from my readings. The error from github is due to pinging Github.com and not getting a response. I have a feeling this is my underlying issue with the plugin status and update. It could also quite possible be my main issue with the OSupdate tool not working as well.

I have set the DNS in my router and both of my servers. I have also tried disabling the firewall and shutting down pfBlockerNG in different combinations to leave everything unprotected. I only have one port forwarded to the outside world and that is Plex@32400. Https is enabled and i have a VPN server setup and working. Any help is appreciated if you would like to know anything else just ask. I will give any information i can. I do apologize for having to ask this here, I have been at this for 2 months and admit defeat. I like my protection but if i cannot get pfSense to work 100% i may as well nuke it.

I’m no expert and got a lot of help from gemin; it took me about two days to get it up and running.

1. Check if your motherboard even supports the Intel Arc B70—for me, it only worked after a BIOS update.

2. Configure the BIOS:

- Re-Size BAR Support: Enabled

- Above 4G Decoding: Enabled

- CMS: Disabled

- Boot Mode: UEFI

- Secure Boot: Disabled

I’m not 100% sure if the last three settings have to be this way, but I have them set this way in any case

3. Unraid: I’m using Unraid 7.3.0-Beta.2 because the current version apparently doesn’t yet include the new Linux kernel that supports the card

4. The Intel-GPU-TOP plugin does detect the card, but not yet.

5. Ollama Docker: The official ones in the Unraid App Store didn’t work for me. Maybe I did something wrong, but I couldn’t get them to run—I always got error 2 in Ollama. I’m currently using uberchuckie/ollama-intel-gpu from Docker Hub.

Repository: uberchuckie/ollama-intel-gpu

Settings to add:

Type: Variable Name: ZES_ENABLE_SYSMAN Key: ZES_ENABLE_SYSMAN Value: 1

Type: Variable Name: SYSCL_CACHE_PERSISTENT Key: SYSCL_CACHE_PERSISTENT Value: 1

Type: Port Name: Ollama Port Container Port:11434 Host Port:11434 Connection Type: TCP

Type: Device Name: Intel GPU Value: /dev/dri

Type: Path Name: Ollama Models Container Path:/root/.ollama Host Path:/mnt/user/appdata/ollama Access Mode: Read/Write

I don't know if you really need all these variables, but it works and I'm just happy right now :D

More info:

- Gemini said you could also get the B70 to run with Vulkan; in his estimation, the card would then run at 30–50% performance. I decided to go with IPEX-LLM. So if anyone's having trouble, it seems there are several ways to do it.

- Also, it’s apparently recommended to enable ASPM in the BIOS to save power, but I’m not sure if it’s on or off for me right now.

- By the way, the card is listed as renderD128 when I run
ls /dev/dri
.

I hope this helps someone, and that an update comes soon for the Intel GPU TOP plugin, as well as drivers or an official plug-and-play Docker container for apps :)

And please don't forget—I'm no expert either. I spent ages trying to get this to work, but this is how it's currently running for me. Maybe I have something in there that's too much or too little—feel free to leave a comment about it.

Greetings from here to there

Translated with DeepL.com (free version)

I guess it will be a few more years before I upgrade based on current prices. Not that I expect prices will go down but nothing is really compelling me to upgrade now and if I am going to pay current prices there needs to be a good reason. Current hardware continues to serve me well.

My last upgrade I got what was "state-of the art" then for server-grade hardware and it cost about $1000 for MB, CPU and RAM. Now I am looking at ~$1500-$1600. Granted, there are hardware improvements, more cores in the CPU, etc. but there have been some hefty price increases.

I thought I'd share:

Goal:

Make a network laser printer accessible for printing from iOS / Chromebook / etc, using a network laser printer that only has Windows drivers. I'm just interested in printing on wifi, but this approach lets you do off site printing too.

Context:

-I used to use Google Cloud Print to share a printer with a variety of family members. Worked amazingly, but Google killed it. I needed a new solution. I used to do this with a Windows VM on Unraid running Papercut Mobility Print. It worked fantastic. I just moved it over from the VM to the Docker Windows OS approach, which seems better on resources and easier to manage.

-The laser printer I use only has Mac/Windows drivers and none of the linux approaches would work. That means I couldn't get CUPS to work, nor use lighter VMs. Lesson learned for the next Printer I buy.

-So, if your printer works with Linux drivers, maybe you can just find a CUPS solution for AirPrint, etc. Please do share if you have this working.

My Setup:

-Unraid: I had to change docker settings to use macvlan for this approach. I believe it was necessary to enable "Host access to custom networks" as well.

-Docker for Windows: I installed the "binhex official windows" docker. But when it comes to streaming massive ZIP/RAR manga archives or high-res videos directly via SMB to an Android tablet or Fire TV stick, the existing apps are frankly disappointing. We have nothing like iOS's ComicShare.

So, I decided to build it myself: Nas Player Pro.

Instead of relying on a middleman server to extract archives, it streams heavy ZIP/RAR files directly from your Unraid shares. I didn't want to compromise on the UX, so I built custom UI logic specifically for proper reading. For example, for traditional Japanese manga, the seekbar logic is completely reversed—starting empty at the bottom right (page 1) and filling up towards the bottom left (end of volume).

It also doubles as a robust media player (similar to nPlayer), with strictly defined playback controls (lateral buttons exclusively for seeking, standard forward/back for skipping tracks) so you never accidentally lose your place.

Why only SMB right now? Some of you might ask: "Where is WebDAV or FTP?" Here is the truth: I know what it means to protect a massive personal data hoard. Security and privacy are my absolute top priorities. I intentionally restricted the initial release to local SMB only to guarantee zero risk of external data leaks while I perfect the local streaming core. Expanding to WebDAV and FTP is definitely on the roadmap once I secure enough funding from this initial release.

I’m a solo indie dev with zero marketing budget. Reddit's automated system inexplicably restricted my account when I tried to share this with the data hoarding community there, so I'm bringing it straight to the people who actually understand the need for it.

It's a paid app. Consider it an investment into building the ultimate local streaming client for our ecosystem. If you have a Fire TV or Android tablet, I’d be honored if you tried it and gave me your most brutal, honest feedback.

ollama / openclaw / hermes/ ollama.cpp / claude code / lmstudio /codex / vllm etc etc

I am trying to learn more about Ai. You mention AI and talk about how your unraid server was setup and what you’ve been doing with it and you’re deleted. Is there some unwritten rule about unraid and AI I don’t know about? Place use to be encouraging to try new things and talk about our rigs and what we’re accomplishing. Apparently now even if you stay within the rules it’s subject to mod moods. Others have been getting deleted, too. Call it unofficial all you want but until there’s some answers or accountability every mod is on a “do not support list”. I got into this to experiment to have fun. To learn, ask questions, and grow in that nature but apparently it’s not allowed on Reddit. This is shameful. This kind of attitude is hard to support.

OpenWebUI, Ollama and local AI

Just wanted to share my project with you all. I built a custom esp32 dev board and got a ePaper display.. Wanted to do something with the ePaper display so here is the outcome of that lol. I've named it "Unraid ePaper Server Monitor" because it requires unraid of course and bash script that runs every 20 minutes. I am not affiliated with UNRAID and this is an unofficial project.

This project is a custom Unraid monitoring solution that uses an ESP32 paired with a 2.9″ ePaper display to present real‑time server metrics. It leverages a bash script (run as a Unraid User Script) to gather system information and Docker/VM stats, formats the data into a JSON file, and then the ESP32 fetches and displays the data.

Battery life I have not got a full discharge yet but based on my amp reading without using the button (monitor only) should last 6-10 weeks on single charge.

Here was my original project that just used ping library to show status:
https://github.com/error311/esp32-epaper-server-monitor

	Start & Stop docker containers

 HTTP endpoint in apache-php

Mount the Docker Socket or SSH to the Host

	Key Features

	Unraid System Metrics

 CPU Load: Extracted from uptime

 CPU Model: Retrieved from /proc/cpuinfo

Memory Usage: Total, used, and free (in MB)

Disk Free Space: Obtained from df -h

	Docker Container Stats

	Monitors the following containers:

 Jellyfin

 Jellyseerr

 GluetunVPN

 immich

For each container, the script displays:

 Online status (using docker ps)

CPU usage, memory usage/limit, and IP address (via docker stats and docker inspect)

Disk information: total disk size, used space, and free space (using df -h)

	Virtual Machine Stats

Uses virsh to gather details for VMs including:

Name, state, CPU cores, and maximum memory (in MB)

 Autostart settings

IP address (using the guest agent)

	JSON Output

All collected metrics are aggregated into a JSON file (saved to /mnt/user/appdata/Apache-PHP/www/firmware/status.json), which the ESP32 uses for display updates.

	Hardware & Power Management

	ESP32 & ePaper Display

Driven by the Waveshare ePaper libraries (DEV_Config.h, EPD.h, GUI_Paint.h)

Uses partial refreshes for efficient display updates

	Power Supply

Powered by a TPS63070 buck‑boost regulator that converts battery voltage to a clean 3.3V

 Uses a 4.2V, 1100mAh battery charged via a TP5100 module

A push button connected to GPIO39 (with a 10kΩ resistor to ground) wakes the ESP32 from deep sleep

	Battery Monitoring Voltage

27kΩ resistor from battery voltage & 100kΩ resistor from ground. These are connected to GIO33.

	OTA Updates

The ESP32 checks for firmware updates via HTTP and uses the Update library for over‑the‑air (OTA) updates

	Software Libraries & Tools

	ESP32 Libraries

WiFi & HTTPClient: For network connectivity

ArduinoJson: For parsing the JSON status file

 Update: For OTA firmware updates

	Bash Script Tools

Standard Linux utilities: uptime, free, df, grep, awk, etc.

Docker commands: docker stats and docker inspect for container monitoring

 virsh for Virtual Machine statistics

	How It Works

Data Collection: A bash script (run as a Unraid User Script) collects Unraid system metrics, Docker container stats (including disk size, used, and free space), and VM information, then formats all of the data into a JSON file.

Display Update: The ESP32 downloads and parses the JSON file using ArduinoJson, and updates the ePaper display with formatted text and graphical progress bars.

Low-Power Operation: The ESP32 is designed for low-power consumption. It uses deep sleep and can be awakened via a push button (GPIO39), ensuring efficient operation.

	Repository Structure

 ESP32 Firmware:
Contains the code for the ESP32, which handles fetching, parsing, and displaying the JSON data.

 Bash Script (json_script.sh):
Collects and formats system, Docker, and VM metrics into a JSON file.

	Branching Strategy

Due to significant differences between the original ping-based monitor and this new JSON-based Unraid monitoring version (which removes some libraries and functionality), this version is maintained in a separate repository. This clear separation ensures that users can easily choose the version that best fits their needs.

	Hi all!

In search of a way to get my iCloud pictures on my array and keep them in sync with iCloud (pull only).

I ended up writing a docker template for the boredazfcuk/icloudpd docker container.

This is my first template so bear with me. If someone has suggestions or comments about it please let me know!

	The template is located here.

	Known issues

	- Your iCloud password cannot contain special characters (I know of * and & to be problematic).
