Hey there,
I would like to know how to create a custom kernel in order to add fusion IO drivers to my servers.
I see a couple of previous topics about this and also saw some request that has been submitted about future updates and I saw there is a how to create a custom kernel on the Unraid wiki and it's really outdated.
I was wondering if someone can show me or even I can hire someone to help me create one and I know that every time gets updated that a custom Kernel has to be remade.
I have an IO Accelerator card that is plugged in into the motherboard and I get speeds up to 2800 mb/sec which it's pretty awesome and that would be a good cache drive.
Just let me know..

I just rebooted another UnRaid Server that was running great for a week and when it came back on it lost the network connectivity. My server has an option for an micro sd card and I will try to see if I boot from it would resolves the issue.

The only thing I change in Tips and Tweaks was maximum CPU profile.. that's it. It fine if I don't reboot

After I re-created the network.cfg file I boot into Unraid and configure the network settings all over again . I tried my ISP dns and also 8.8.8.8 8.8.4.4. same issue. I should of added that part in my original post.. sorry
I use the gui to configure everything which I was doing originally.. I was entering the ip , subnet and gateway and slap in the pc and then configure the rest in the gui

I have been having an issue with Unraid on my server.
If I start a fresh install of Unraid and I setup the network and the arrays of 2 drives for now after a couple of reboots I am unable to connect the my network. it's intermittent. So what I do is I stop my server and pull out the usb thumb drive and wipe the content of network.cfg and insert these into the file.
USE_DHCP=no
IPADDR=192.168.1.230
NETMASK=255.255.255.0
GATEWAY=192.168.1.1
Then the system will be fine for a while until I go into the App section and I see that I get an error that it cannot connect to the Community Applications app and it gives a few pointers to try to enter a set of dns's.
Then again I pull the usb thumb drive out and wipe the content of network.cfg all of again.
I also downloaded Notepad ++ and save the file in Linux file system so I don't mess up the file
Also I also tried 2 usb keys a Kingston 2.0 and brand new Sandisk USB 2.0 and same issues.
I switched Network cards also with the same model same issue.
I did pay for a basic license for now and I was looking forward to get another 7 licenses since I own 8 servers.

Hey there
I have a couple of Unraid Servers and I wanted to know how to forward the internet from eth0 to eth1.
I was using Centos and other distros in the past and I had no issues doing that setup and I tried doing it in Unraid via the command line and it messed up my network.
I want to setup a private network using eth1. So on my main PC eth0 is the public network 192.168.1.230 and eth1 is private network of 192.168.10.1.
Is there a plugin that I can get to get this kind of setup? I don't want to use the iptables command since it made my Unraid a total mess..

If this option was possible I would switch to unraid with all my 32 x bl460C G8 Servers in a heartbeat. All My BL460C G8 are attached to a D2200SB Storage blade which means a total of 14 hard drives each servers ( 2x hard drives on the BL460C G8 and 12 hard drives on the D2200SB = 14 hard drives) I have a 1.2 TB Fusion IO integrated in each of them..
