[What is your longest Unraid up time?]

Over two years, then needed to add some ram. Upgraded OS and was up for 266 days before needed to look at something on the board a few days ago because I'm planning an upgrade. 

 

Gotta love supermicro server grade hardware.

[Disk Spinup causes issues playing content]

Necropost here. Has this issue been addressed? I just upgraded to 6.9.2 which has remedied several other performance problems I've had and I'm re-invested in making the most of my unraid setup.  I was hoping that there is some kind of remedy for this issue, even if it means swapping controllers. Any advise?

 

To be specific I am running two LSI SAS 2008 boards, 16 drives total including SSD cache. Perhaps there is another HBA that is not susceptible to the issue?

Any fix that doesn't kill browsing for windows machines? This has been ongoing for months..... kinda sucks that I basically don't have access to one of my CPU cores for VMs/Containers/etc...  Is this a more generic SMB problem or something unraid specific?
