I'm not sure what you mean but i think most of us use their unraid-setup as 'always on' systems. VM's can start/stop automatically when unraid boots/shuts down. You can try unraid for free for 30 days.

I have experience with esxi6.7
Proxmox
And i can buy SSD for VMs..
I hope it can be stable for few years...
Most time i using Linux.. but for games or couple software using windows... and every time rebooting i don't want..

I can't understand how all this system can be shutdown... so vms will suspend automatically? Then reboot unraid?
How to operate this?

Hi all

I planning build multy os pc.

1 GPU

1 CPU

1 sound from motherboard

1 keyboard

1 mice

2 monitors

 OK, how can i use Linux and windows for gaming same time with different, separated monitors?

For Linux i guess should be integrated gpu.

For windows Nvidia gpu.

And i have only 2 HDDs... i don't need parity... i have a nas already for storage my files.

So... i want use one HDD for windows and another one for Linux...

Could some of you explain me, how can i build this system using unraid???
