How do I use GPU-Z if i can't access windows from unraid, should i transfer the GPU to another computer and run GPU-z?

I tried teamviewer but couldn't connect.

techpower vbios does't work for me.

i just spun up a generic win10 laptop i had lying around and pulled the vbios with gpuz then did a network transfer to a folder on my share.

  2. quick questions about this.  what if  you only have 2 pciex16  slots and  2 gpus? how would that work...... or will it?  This is the issue i am running into, and i believe that once this issue is fixed, I am home free with both vm's

  3. I apologize up front if this has been solved in another post, but this is my first time using Unraid.  As such, I am still getting the hang of all the things.  Most of the problems I ran into, I was able to figure out, but the last great hurdle is the GPU's.  For the life of me, I cannot get either gpu to correctly update the drivers once inside the VM.   Thanks in advance for the help

So the question is how do i get the GPU's to updated drivers, so that i am not locked to 800x600 res... and for my 5500xt, able to use multiple monitors?

For reference, the GT710 is just for my wife vm's as a daily driver / photoshop editor, and the RX5500 is for my gaming / multi monitor work from home station.

Here are the things I have tried:

    q35 and i440

editing the xml to put the audio and gpu on the same slot

updating the gpus with the gpu disabled in the vm

updating the gpus in safe mode (this appears to work, but fails as soon as i go back to regular mode)

updating using older drivers (even using the old drivers, the GT710 still updates to the most current one)

using vifo (it was probably my fault for trying to pass the nic, but that caused unraid to not boot after the restart)

    • with that being said i had to redo unraid.  Not sur if i had to or not, but i started the parity check again (2.5 hour wait time)

installing with one card in and one card out.

    using seabios and ovfm

I have not tried VNC or vbios passthrough yet (but i can try those after the parity check and rebuild are finish.

  4. I apologize up front if this has been solved in another thread, but here is my issue.  when i boot up Unraid, it appears to detect my logitech wireless dongle, but even after i added them to the vm upon creation, the mouse and keyboard dont seem to work when the windows installer starts.    To be more specific, the only key on the keyboard that does anything is the enter key (which just slides the setup window over.  I have tried 2 different wireless keyboards and mice to no avail  (both sets are logitech).  so i guess what i am asking is: how do i get a mouse and keyboard to work?

    **Edit**
I tried a tecknet mouse and it does the same thing.  if i can find a wired mouse and keyboard, ill try those too.

    **2nd Edit**

after some youtubing and playing around, I found out how to edit the vm, and... Lo and behold, the wireless dongle was not selected.  I am not sure if this is something that has to be done every time or not, but that was the case this time.
