Vdisks are thin provisioned, move to the array again then copy back with cp --sparse=always

Thanks for the quick reply.  I assume that is a terminal command, I'm not too proficient with that so will have to figure it out.  However, move it to array then copy back not move back?  Would it be better to move to an unassigned disk verse the array?  I assume it would be faster to move from ssd to NVME vs the array.  And both System (currently 199GB according to the calculation on the shares tab, Krusader only shows this as 10GB?) and appData (currently 60GB) or is just one of them the issue?  I've never encountered this issue before and unraid usually just works (lol) so I may be asking questions that don't even need to be asked.

  2. I recently upgraded my cache pool from two 250GB ssds to two 1TB ssds.  I moved the system and app data folders after stopping docker and vm services to the array using the new built in file manager to move them.  After swapping the new drives in those two folders seems to have swelled in size for some reason.  Before everything the size of those folders together was about 60-70GB.  Now its about 250-260GB.  I mean I now have the space to support that put losing almost 200GB of cache space for some unknown reason to me is concerning.  Anyone have any ideas what the issue might be?  I assume it's something that I messed up LOL, although everything has been running with no issues so I'm at a loss.

Check if you have "/boot/config/plugins/user.scripts". If so, your scripts should be in the "scripts" folder there, which you can back up and then re-install the plugin.

That did it, it actually repopulated the scripts by itself.  Thank you.

I'm having a weird issue.  I have strips installs, did it a while back and put some scripts in place.  Just went in to settings cause I wanted to check one of them and there is no icon for me to click, it's like it's not installed on my system.  If I click on it from the plugins page just goes to /Settings/Userscripts, but it's a blank page.  Thoughts?  Are my scripts even still running or are they gone?

  7. puzzled, been trucking along for a good while with delugevpn with zero issues.  Notice some stuff failed to download the other day so started poking around.  it seems that for some reason it's restarting like every 3-4 minutes.  I hadn't changed any settings, just started going wonky on me.  This is what I see in the logs, any thoughts?

  8. YouTube-dl Material.  Having a weird issue.  I noticed the the downloaded files were still sitting on the cache drive after a few days, I figured it was because it was running and had the files locked for some reason.  I stopped the container, ran mover to get the videos on the array and seemed good.  Restarted the container and after a few hours somehow the video are starting to migrate back on the cache drive and the json, txt and thumbnails are staying put on the array.. I can't figure out why that keeps happening.  any ideas?

Not all plugins are compatible with the webUI (I’m not sure about this one). You may have to configure it via GTK.

I know the version I mentioned before was, the 6.1 one.  Not sure if the the branch 6.6 you linked is.  I had it working before I upgraded to use the next gen servers.  Odd.  I'm probably  missing something silly again like not clicking update as binhex suggested earlier.  At the very least its showing in the settings now, I'll have to fiddle around with it and browse some more threads.  Fingers crossed.

    EDIT:

FYI, there is a newer version of the auto remove plus that seems to be functioning properly

The support thread for the plugin is here if you want to follow the changes made to it.

Thanks, I grabbed the egg and was able to edit the conf file.  box just unchecks itself when I try to turn it on in the gui.  At least I have a place to start at now

The egg file is in the plugins folder, it was working before I updated deluge.  I downloaded a fresh copy and a previous version and tried both (not at the same time obviously), it's not showing in the plugins settings.  Tried both AutoRemovePlus-0.6.1-py2.7 and AutoRemovePlus-0.6.1-py2.6, should be the correct versions for Deluge 2.x+.  Concerning Q4, That file will not open with notepad++ even with the container stopped, however this is not the issue I' m having but I figured I would take a look.

you are either still specifying a specific tagged release or the 'latest' image you have on disk is out of date, solutions for both:-

    1. tagged release - go to unraid web ui/docker/left click and select edit for the container/go to 'Repository:' field and remove everything including the colon from the Repository field. e.g.:-

    binhex/arch-delugevpn:test

    becomes

    binhex/arch-delugevpn

    2. out of date image - go to unraid web ui/docker/click on 'check for updates' at the bottom, and then select 'update all' - wait for it to finish then check the logs again to confirm its working.

The Repository field was already set to that.  Did the check for updates and there was one available.  That did the trick, now I feel amazingly stupid for not checking that lol.  That for the help, now to try and figure out how to get auto remove installed again.  It disappeared and doesn't seem to want to install again

  13. I've finally given up.  I realized I was on an old version that I had pulled for some reason so I'm now on the latest I can't for the life of me get the next gen PIA endpoints to work with strict port forwarding enabled.  Looking at the log it says the endpoint I'm trying to connected to doesn't support port forwarding but it should and I looks like the ones in the log are the legacy addresses? Hopefully someone can see whatever silly error I'm making.  I also noticed the the auto remove plug-in is not longer there, that's disappointing.  Or did I mess that up too?  Removing strict port forward I'm able to get the gui no issue, any help would be appreciated.

  14. Thanks for the quick reply, just installed one by Kiwi and have it up and running.  Have gotten a couple notifications already so I imagine all is working correctly

a couple that look like this

"Jun 21 22:29:40 BackBrain emhttpd: cmd: /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix/scripts/tail_log syslog"

See if it happens again.  Didn't know that feature existed lol

  15. Super noob question as I have only had my server up and running for like 4 days.  Built a new PC and used the old hardware for unraid, waiting for some new drives to get delivered as the ones I have a aged.  I was browsing the folders on a windows 10 machine and the apcupsd slave tray icon flashed disconnected, which was strange.  I then got booted from the mapped drive.  I switched over the input on the monitor to the unraid tower and no text wall with the happy blinking log in prompt, just a black screen.  Attempted to ping the IP assigned to the server, no response.  I was left with no choice but to uncleanly power cycle it, now waiting on a parity check, which just finished the weekly schedule I had set up like 18 or so hours ago.  I checked the system log however it shows nothing before the reboot.  The question is is there a way to determine was caused the log up so I can take steps to avoid it in the future?  I'm not sitting on much data now but I'm sure it will be more annoying in the future if it happens again after I get everything moved over and really up and running.  As a FYI I'm still on the trail key since I'm less than a week in I didn't purchase it yet.

    Thanks in advance,

    CB
