  1. Thanks for the great Backblaze container!

I use Nextcloud on my Unraid server to provide syncing on my family's computers.  I wanted to back up the whole Nextcloud folder, but I could not get the D:\ drive to show up in the Backblaze instance even after following the symbolic linking step in the getting started instructions.

I found that the Backblaze docker doesn't include the same user ID or group ID as the Nextcloud docker, which is why I couldn't access the folder in the container.

I manually added container variables USER_ID and GROUP_ID to the Backblaze container settings.

I can access the whole folder structure now!

Maybe consider adding these fields to the Backblaze container template so that it has access to the whole /usr/share structure?

  2. I've had this happen a few times with my server build.

The server dashboard shows 100% on all 4 cores of my CPU, the web GUI is unresponsive, and I can't access my shares from Windows or any of my Docker containers.

I can log into the server via SSH and WinSCP to do a few things, but most commands hang.

I run htop in SSH and only see 1 core at 100%, which doesn't match the web GUI.

I couldn't run "diagnostics" from the SSH command line; it would hang for a long time.

I can't run "reboot" from the command line.

I did capture the syslog before doing a hard reboot, and ran a diagnostics after.  I hope you can make some sense of my logs.

I have a number of CRC errors on the Cache drives, but I think this comes from the AMD/Samsung Evo compatibility issues.  I have a new controller coming later this week instead of running them off the motherboard.

    Setup:

    Mobo: Gigabyte GA-MA785G-UD3H

Processor: AMD Athlon II X4 630

    RAM: 4 x 2GB sticks

Parity: 1 x 8 TB Seagate Ironwolf NAS

Array: 1 x 8 TB WD Red NAS Plus

    Cache pool: 2 x Samsung 860 EVO 500 GB

    Syslog before hard reboot:

    2020-01-05 syslog

    Diagnostics after reboot:

Thanks in advance!  I really like Unraid...when it's not crashed or run a parity check.

  3. My Windows 10 desktop is getting long in the tooth.  I for sure want a home server and a new desktop.  I'm debating whether to do it all in one box, build two separate boxes, or build a new desktop and reuse my current one for a server.  Unraid seems like the best option either way I go.  Thanks in advance for reading and your feedback:
