Hi, I think I was updating this and it said not to close the window unless after two minutes it had not changed. So I had closed it as it was more than two minutes and now my drives are not showing up or anything like that. I went to unraid conenct to download the backup file but the backup file seems to had been uploaded just as or after the update which when re flashing the backup it still has the same issue with not showing the drives. Do you know if Unraid connect keeps more than one backup or is it okay to use a backup I had a couple of weeks ago. Thanks

I've never done a VM in unraid before and as I have the A380 I had wanted to try using in a windows VM. Is there a good guide I could follow. Thanks

Would anyone know if there would be a way or plugin for cahcing a movie that is played on Plex to be put on the SSD or RAM during the viewing so the HDD doesn't need to load up so many times during the movie. Most of my movies are quite low thanks due to x265. So most are around 5 to 10GB.

Would anyone might know why I am having such an issue. I transferred some files from a usb drive to unraid but when I try and access it via windows it'll allow me to go into the share but not the particular folder I just moved over in unraid. In unraid using krusader I can go into the files I just moved just fine. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks

I am needing to use tvhproxy so plex can use the tuner but when i type in the ip of tvhproxy in plex it doesn't show anything up. Been trying for a while as tp what it is and I can't think of anything.
any help much appreciated

Keep in mind if you tried also Tvheadend and you got it running in Plex too and Plex is using the tuner Tvheadend is not able to utilize the tuner anyways...
What packages/modules do you need? If you are on RC1 all packages that you can build with the Unraid-Kernel-Helper that are builtin should be now availble in the CA App.
I have to look into this, can you give me a little bit more information what is failing and evenutally enable the log bevore building and post it here?
Thanks and it is weird as I also used Tvheadend to see the channels and also they did not come back in HD, I did try and manually change the channel on plex to the HD ones but also no luck. I will ask plex forums. Thanks for the help.

So I can get channels found on Plex but I am not able to load up the HD ones, I can't see why not as the signal is okay and also I did change the default plex setting for the channel to HD. I also tried tvheadend but that can't find any channels at all.

step 2, check plex if tuner is detected (after adding device to docker), as you can read at plex it should be supported ...

So actually I was using the Linux version of plex and it was not working, I moved over to the official Plex one and it works. Thanks for the help

So I did install the plugin but I don't know which one (If any) I need to install for the driver but since you mentioned It I will try it. Also I've never heard of xteve so I will try that too. I am very thankful for the help.
Also I did not mean to double post then, I had just thought maybe other people in different forum someone might know something different.

I don't know if this is the right place to ask but would anyone mind helping me with how I would get the xbox usb to show up in Plex. I know it is supposed to show up as a hdhomerun by using TVHeadEnd but I can't see anywhere in TVHeadEnd that will allow Plex to use it.

Just an update. I rebooted and left it and I came back to it all showing up. So maybe I'm having some random hardware issue or something else. I just want to put that It for sure was not the CA plugin then. Sorry about that. Thanks for your reply though.
