Hi,
My I've just noticed my server has shut down all the dockers as I wasnt able to access them remotely.
When logging in I had an array of errors and the cache drive is full.
I have not made any changes on the server for a while so not sure what has caused this.
Is anyone able to point me in the right direction?
Thanks

UDMA CRC ERROR COUNT IS 10.
Hasn't popped up since first reinstalling into the array and all seems OK now.
This was one of the errors I was constantly getting before now.
-
I managed to copy the data from the parity "emulated disk" onto an unassigned device before clearing the drive.
It wouldn't then format when reading to the array however managed to format it outside of the array before adding back in.
Thanks

Now attached.
It looks like I was able to format the disk when it was not assigned to the array.
Looks like it may be working now but Still having errors pop up though.
Thanks

Hi, I keep getting the above issue on a relatively new hdd I installed.
It was working correctly and then showed up as failed. I have since cleared the drive, run preclear disks etc however unraid will not now format the drive and keeps failing when I ask it to do so.
Is anyone able to assist with the attached diagnostics?
Thanks

Crisis averted. Looks like I managed to move some files to the wrong folders.
Thank you very much for your assistance! -
So I followed the recreate docker image steps however it doenst appear to have worked.
I have attached the diagnostics.
Thanks

So I managed to clear it using preclear disks and then formatted.
Having now added it back in and copied all of the data back to it, I am missing all of my docker containers.
Is there a way to point docker to the cache so that it picks them up?
Thanks

So I think the nvme device is the issue here and that is what is set up as the cache drive. It appears that most if not all of the files have copied over into my USB hdd.
How do I now go about formatting the cache drive?
I tried removing it from the array but was unable to then format it.
Thanks

thanks for this. Managed to work it out but unfortunately the copy didn't work.
I have attached the diagnostics so if you could see any issues that would be much appreciated.
Thanks

Just to double check, I need to go into Main then select Cache and then select all files and move to "remotes"?
Sorry I'm very much a noob

I can't access krusader as the docker won't work with the current error.
How do I go about copying all of the data to a USB hard drive that I have mounted using unasiged devices? Is it possible to do this through the unraid GUI?
Thanks

So I rad the mem test over the weekend for 3 days straight with no issues by the looks of it.
Would the next stage be to backup and reformat the pool? If so, please can you outline how I do this?
Thanks

Thanks for this.
Please can you send a step by step guide to doing what you said?
Thanks

Hi,
My unraid server has suddenly got BTRFS errors on the cache drive that are causing docker to not run.
Please can someone offer some assistance as to how to fix this? Whilst the server has been up and running well for some time, I am definitely a newbie so layman's terms would be appreciated.
I have attached the diagnostics.
Thanks

Hi, I've managed to set up tailscale so I can access my unraid web UI from outside my home however I cannot then access the individual docker containers from here.
Please can someone point me in the right direction for finding instructions on how to set this up?
Thanks

Perfect. Thank you so much for your help.

Just done so hopefully all good now.
Just to check, when re-adding the other nvme, I can just create a seperate pool and put it in there? Will it need to be formatted etc?
Thanks
-
I have deleted this file however unfortunately this donesn't look to have fixed things.
Thanks

I've just run the scrub and got the attached error.
To clarify, the system appears to be working as expected other than the errors in the log.
-
So I have followed the steps you said above and it appears to have worked but there have been some errors on the log.
Are you able to confirm if this has been executed as expected?
Thanks

Great, thank you for your help.
It looks as though my dockers have all been restored now along with the cache funcitoning as normal.
I have attached the logs.
To clarify my intentions, I wish to seperate out the SSDs into seperate cache pools, one for docker images and one for downloads etc.
What is the easiest way to do this?
Thanks

Hi, sorry I'm new to unraid and the forum protocol!
I have attached the diagnostics to this post.
Please let me know if there is anything else I should do.
Thanks
Cache Drive Full
in General Support
Posted
Hi, thanks for your response.
I don't know why the cache drive is suddenly full. Is there a way of viewing which files are large that have filled the space without going into each folder manually?
Hopefully I can locate a large file and just delete it to create space?
Thanks
