  1. Unraid 6.10.0 RC1

    Share Movies (Public)

    Subfolders - Folder A, Folder B, Folder C, Etc

From Windows 10 I can see the Movies share but half the folders I try and open say I don't have permission to access the folder. the other half open and I browse fine.

If I access same share on a different Win 10 PC I can see all folders with no issues.

  2. I have a Movies Share that when I setup originally I picked save 200gb of free space per drive. Now I'd like to change it from 200 to 500 but after changing no files moved around. Drive 1-3 all have 140-160GB free space. Disk 4 has 50% free.

I've tried to invoke mover but that didn't change anything. My Movies Share is set to include disk 1-5. Can I use Krusader and manually move movies from Disk 1-3 to Disk 4-5?

double check you have --runtime=nvidia in advanced extra param on the node.

Now the issue I have, I have 2x GPU's how the F do I get this working? Will takes months to get through my database at the rate its working at with just 1

I've got it working as well with 1 Docker Node, I tried to make a second Docker node keeping all settings the same excpet Name/Node Port/GPU but the server doesn't detect it unless I use node port 8267 which I can't do on both at the same time. Is there a way around this? or can 2 GPU's be added to 1 node?

  4. Is there a way to have my UnRaid Server be a NTP server for all my local IoT devices and cameras? I've tried to make a customer docker with some Chrony Dockers on Github but when I start it all I get is a cmd prompt.

  5. New to Unraid, Loving it so far and would like to upgrade for my needs

Current Setup 18 Drives (2 NVME, SSD, SAS, SATA), 64GB RAM, Ryzen 3800x, 1650 GPU, 1060 GPU  and P2200 GPU. PCI 16 SAS Adapter, X570

Needs - Plex Server with 3-4 Remote Clients, BlueIris, Other Media Dockers, Win10 Generic VM, 2 Gaming VM's for Kids, Possible 3rd Gaming VM that would share a GPU with only 1 being used at a time.

Currently both Kids have a Gaming PC but I'm so happy with performance of the VM one I tested I'm thinking power wise will be cheaper to move them to a Thin Client. and would like the ability to game from a Laptop.

I was looking at the Threadripper WRX Models since there's not much price difference with the older Threadrippers. Am I better going this route or using an old server board with a Xeon or AMD Epic? My only concern is are the Xeon's capable of gaming and would I need to purchase new RAM? My ideal setup is 16C/32T, 128GB RAM, and I need a minimum of 4 PCI-E 16 Slots with 3 NVME M.2 Slots. I also have a DreamMachine Pro and would like to utilize the 10G ethernet, not sure if it will make a difference since none of the other clients are 10G or if it just helps having 10G with all the plex clients and 4 IP Cams talking to BI

  6. Normally Parity sync takes 10-15Hrs, I needed to remove a drive from array (not replace) I performed a new config there was no data on drive so I didn't need to migrate anything. and now it's running a Parity Sync at 3/mbps and has 30days remaining.

  7. Trial expired so I tried to sign in (top right) and when I click sign in on the pop up window it just says invalid credentials, but I can sign in here with the same login/pw. is there a  way i can Just purchase a license and paste it in?

any ideas for why gpu statistics isn't showing anything but plex says HW transcoding?

What CPU are you using, from what I see it is using the Nvidia card and not the CPU for video transcoding.

The screenshot from Plex shows that it uses HW but also keep in mind that it transcodes the audio and eventually subtitles, this is done on the CPU.

From the first screenshot from 'nvidia-smi' you can also see that one process is using the card (the better command would be 'watch nvidia-smi' since this will update the output from nvidia-smi every two seconds, to abourt press CTRL+C).

The next thing is that it looks like you haven't configured GPU Statistics, you have to go to the Settings page and on the bottom press on GPU Statistics, from the dropdown select Nvidia, select the GPU UUID from the dropdown and on the bottom press apply.

Hope that helps and makes sense to you. ;)

  11. Having trouble getting my GPU Transcoder to work. I've followed all the steps and it's still using CPU to transcode.

I've watched the SpaceInvader Video along with reading through here. I've tried the Plex LinuxServer Docker along with the binhex-plexpass. I believe I've attached all the screenshots needed. Also tried rebooting the server along with the plex docker
