No room in the case for another controller. Have to think about what I can do.

Weird. Been running perfectly fine for almost 3 years
-
Thanks, I knew I forgot something. Ignore the bad drive I need to get that sorted today

Hello, I went to mass update a few Docker containers and it completely bombed out on them. Now none of them will start, and if I try force update they all give me "Error: open /var/lib/docker/tmp/GetImageBlob777644061: read-only file system". Different blob names obviously. Any ideas on how to recover? One of them is Plex so I REALLY don't want to have to recreate it. Thanks!

Sorry just found the video in the other thread

Thanks just found that on another thread and updated. Everything is working again

I'm having a lot of problems with Plex from the limetech repository. Every time I go into the console it says there's an update available but checking the Docker container doesn't show one. Streaming to my Rokus and XBox One has stopped working, through other devices like my iPads are ok. I can move to a different repository and a different version but man do I NOT want to lose all my customizations, etc; Is there a way to make that not happen? Or a way to fix the existing?

The old drives were 4.5, new drives are latest 6.1 release. When I try to delete or rename files that were copies over from my Windows machine with a UNC mapping I get permission denied and that they are owned by either "root" or "nobody". If I try and manipulate files that I copied over from say a Windows machine I have no problems. This probably isn't specific to the plugin and I can move the question over to 6.1 support if you would rather.

So I'm using this to manually migrate all my disks from my old crashed server to my new one. I mount the drive one at a time, then go into Midnight Commander and copy them all over to a new drive. Problem is permissions on them when they are copied over seems to be screwy. Is there a better way to do this? And is there are easy way to fix the perms on everything I copied over?

Wanted to say thanks for this! I installed it without the added params because I don't have a BD drive on my Unraid so I'm using it to rip my ISOs over to MKV so Plex can pick them up
-
Thank you! Stupidly simple now that I understand it
-
Ok... I'm trying to get Plex up and running and could use some help It's a little more complicated than the Windows install! I just don't understand the config at all for installing the docker package. What goes in Container Volume and Host path? I have my videos in a share called "Videos" and then each one is in it's own folder underneath. Thanks for any help.

Thanks so much! Your build really inspired me I've found a problem with my fan array, it seems like one of the fans isn't getting the power from the splitter so I need to figure that one out. So I'm going to have to take the darn thing apart (again!!!) anyway.

Still to this day - 1 year on almost - so happy with these drives. Still don't understand those who are not choosing these for Parity drives and or are choosing H/W RAID1 (2 x 4TB) to work as Parity! They are just perfect for unRAID as a Data or Parity disk IMHO!
Because I'm an idiot that thought I needed 7200RPM Honestly with the problems I'm having with the controller card I'm going to pull the 4TB drives and use an 8TB as the parity and then fill the other 3 Silverstone bays with 8TB as well. 56TB with parity is craaaazy in such a small space.

Any idea on the dimensions of the skirt? My temps during preclear were insanely high, to the point where I took off the side panel and am running a box fan on it to keep it cool.
-
So I put 2 4TB HGST Desktars in a RAID0 intending to use them as parity for these Seagate 8TBs. unRaid shows it as 8TB but when I assign it as parity I'm told it's not the largest drive I know other members have done it with these exact disks so I'm baffled why I can't.
-
Just adding myself to a user who had the problem with this card: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16816115114
The fix listed did get them detected again.

Very nice build, and similar to what I was looking at. Question for you any recommendations about SATA expansion? Looks like you have 6 onboard that MB and the case can theoretically support 8.
-
Ok, yep... will do that. Just got it yesterday. I've got an SSD to use as the write cache but I may have to hold off a bit until I can get those drives.
-
So I am looking to replace my 4224 with a smaller setup and less drives... snagged a N54L off Ebay for a decent price. I know it only holds 4 drives out of the box, I really want those 8TB drives to come out I wanted expansibility (albeit with external boxes) and the ability to try 6.0 and move all my old stuff off

Reran preclear on my 5 drives. 3 finished in 34 hours with no errors. 2 took 40+ hours and had the following:

Do I need to be worried about those 2?
-
Ahhhh.. shoot Ok. Good to know for next time! Nothing looked particularly bad.

Does preclear write a log anywhere? I've got what it says on the screen for the 5 drives I just ran, but it's a lot to copy out by hand I did it from the root console. Got errors (at least I think they are errors) and wanted to check on what the heck they were.
Docker containers failed update and now are "stuck"
in Docker Engine
