[Farm Out Maintenance Tasks to Raspberry PIs]

ARM CPUs aren't the most powerful but they're generally capable of reading and writing data in an efficient manner so it would be nice to be able to one or more PIs to an unRAID server that the server could task with some of the "routine" maintenance tasks for managing the disks.  For example, a PI could be used to defragment conventional platter drives when the disk set is otherwise quiescent.  

 

Since PIs can also run on battery, it might be a good way to shut down an unRAID in a power outage situation.

I'm a huge fan of fail2ban.  Never assume that your perimeter is impenetrable.  Treat everything like it's the interwebz.  I've seen really serious compromises that happened through copiers, coffee makers, lights, cameras, refrigerators, door alarms, and cash registers.  

 

Assume for a moment that a family member invites someone over.  Should that guest's cell phone be able to surf your network and map all your drives?  Maybe download your tax returns or your medical records?

It looks like your Cloudflare creds aren't correct.  The error message is in the post.  You might want to log in to your CloudFlare account directly to validate that the email address and API Key remain unchanged.

I would suggest looking to see if that isn't when your logs rotate or some other process starts/stops.  What do the server logs have to say that happening at that same time?

You really want to use 6a or 7 and not the plain 6 if you really want it to perform.  You also need to be sensitive to the length of the run as longer distances can heat up.
