Can somebody outside your LAN try to connect? If NAT Reflection isn‘t working on your Router then you won‘t be able to join the dedicated server with your public IP from your LAN.

Yes, all the ports which are listed in the Docker template with the corresponding protocol.

yes, it is the problem, I hate ISP router so much!!

Thank you for the patient and time, I should realize the problem long time ago!

Hope everything works out for you, and have a nice day!

Ok, my friends have the same problem as well, I may have some idea, att router only apply port forwarding on single device that is connect to the router, which I did it on the NAS machine, but the docker use another LAN IP, could that be the problem?

    I can't reproduce this...

With the default configuration it just works, this is my log where you can see that I can connect just fine:

Are you really sure that NAT Reflection is working correctly on your end. As you can clearly see I only tested this with my local IP but I just entered my servers IP in IP as you can see here:

Please also note that I didn't change anything, just deployed the container.

OK, my mistake, I used both WAN and LAN IP when I tried connecting with LAN last time, and I did successfully join the server this time.

So, the server is running well, should I try opening some other ports for it to work? Do you have any suggestions? Like IP passthrough? Because it is still not responsive via WAN ip.

Btw I am using a AT&T fiber router, maybe you encounter other people have similar problem with this router.

I can try that later today but you have to give me a few hours.

Have you yet tried to connect via IP and connect with the LAN IP from your server in game?

Thank you for that, but I am not sure what you are asking.

When I host a Unraid server, it failed to respond either I use WAN or LAN (in game it required put in the WAN Ip and LAN is optional).

When I host in game, I did just invite them through steam after I whitelist them.

Then it's most likely a issue with the port forwarding, please double check the forwarded ports and also if the correct protocol is set.

I would also recommend that you try it with the default settings and see if that is working properly (I would recommend if you try it with the default configuration that you at least change the server name

Thank you for replying so fast, my port forwarding is like this:image.png.e89e76ce23e8860a3934bfdc99bcbb5c.png

Like my later reply said, I use my main PC to open a build-in server in game, and it works perfectly.

And I just tried to remove the whole docker and delete all the appdata files, start with default configuration with only server name change, and the server still doesn't respond.

Hi, I am trying to setup a Project Zomboid server, and I follow the guide online with the servertest.ini configuration (like wan ip, port forward, etc), but still I cannot connect with server without any mod, it says server unresponsive.

In log everything look good to me but only one error.

    LOG  : General     , 1712208699576> 201,211,834> ERROR: Mannequin zone missing properties in media/maps/Muldraugh, KY/objects.lua at 13583,1299,0

Not sure it is the problem or not, please help me out, thanks a lot!

And I just setup the server on my main pc, works perfectly fine, my friends can join the server, I believe that means port forwarding is working.
