I followed the rest of the steps in the wiki link (which I have also done before, just not from the command line) and drive 6 is once again mounted and green, thanks for the assist with that.
I am waiting on the replacement for drive 7 and hopefully that puts everything back in the green.
I am still not sure I have figured out the root of my issues with drive failures and overall system instability. I did replace the sata card, but I still had drive 6 fail to mount after being fine for a week or so.

did you try clearing browser cache?
Cleared cache in normal window, but still running in fresh incognito windows so there is no cache.
The only way to remove that error from the UI and be able to run xfs_repair again is to reboot the system.

I don't have the full output from the command since I ran it from the command line and the start disappeared, but here is the tail end of the output:

so in this case it would be md6 instead of sde.
Ah, running that now and it it working as expected. Thanks for the wiki link.

I tried running repair from the UI and closed the browser, waited a few minutes. Opened it back up and saw the same memory error.

What was the exact command you used?
xfs_repair -n /dev/sde

I just tried it from an incognito window and the same error happened.

I tried running `xfs_repair -n` from ssh and I get this:

It keeps going printing dots. I am assuming this could take awhile?

New diagnostics after seeing the error again.orthanc-diagnostics-20220825-2238.zip

I shut everything down and checked the connections on drive 6. After rebooting ran xfs_repair again and I still have the same error.
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 67108872 bytes) in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix/include/DefaultPageLayout.php(522) : eval()'d code on line 735

I have a replacement on the way for Drive 7. It should be here in a few days.

Oh, I see. It was disconnected which was causing the read errors. Once disk 6 is done rebuilding today I'll try reconnecting disk 7 and make sure it connects.

Looks like it disconnected
Yes, I disconnected it after all the read errors.
-
I disconnected disk 7. The rebuild of disk 6 started to slow down and went from 2-3 days up to over 400 days.
After removing disk 7 it is back to under 1 day.
I think I should let disk 6 rebuild and then deal with disk 7.

Okay, I installed the new sata card and it's rebuilding Drive 6. Let me know if everything looks okay.
-
Thanks! I ordered one of the 6 ports. It should be here tomorrow and I'll see what happens.

Another thing I don't think we have mentioned. Does your system have adequate cooling? Controllers have heatsinks for a reason.
I have just the case fans that came with it and a big box fan blowing over the whole server rack. There isn't anything pointing directly at the sata controller. I can try and get another fan in the case pointing at it.

Can't remember if it was already mentioned, what are you replacing it with?
I had grabbed another one off amazon, but even though its a different brand and image it's the exact same controller...
So right now I don't have anything to replace it with. Any suggestions?

From what I can tell the drives that are now on the sata card are having read issues. I'm shutting it down and replacing the sata card.

Still having connection problems on parity2.
For my own understanding, where do you see this in the diagnostics?

I stopped the array and hot swapped the 2 parity drives into a different drive bay, so they should be running from the sata controller on the mobo now instead of the expansion card.
if they don't have problems and the other drives now do, I will need to replace the sata card.
After 3 years Unraid is being wonky, dockers are not working, drives keep failing

Down to 6 TB in lost+found! It has a lot of movies and TV shows that are pretty easy to copy out in large chunks.
