  1. I am attempting to create a W11 VM. I have created the VM with the VM config at the bottom of this post, ensuring the virtio image and W11 ISO exist.

    Once I start the VM, it shows as "started", however if I connect via noVNC I receive a "Failed to connect to server" error. In my server syslog, I also receive the following error

    Quote

    Sep 13 17:08:23 [xxx] nginx: 2022/09/13 17:08:23 [error] 4460#4460: *211085 recv() failed (104: Connection reset by peer) while reading upstream, client: 192.168.178.30, server: , request: "GET //wsproxy/5700/ HTTP/1.1", upstream: "http://127.0.0.1:5700/", host: "192.168.178.200"

    I was previously running a W11 VM successfully, but I found that it became very slow, I decided to create a new VM to see if this would continue to be an issue - unfortunately I can't get as far as connecting via noVNC now. I have since read other posts from people suffering from slow VMs since a recent update; so I assume there may be an issue introduced with the update.

    Any advice greatly appreciated. I tried to find a thread

    Thanks for letting us know you're still having issues. I am seeing intermittent errors as well but after retrying a few times it always connects. We are going to do another round of server side tweaks before asking for your logs.

    In the meantime, if your online flash backup is out of date please make a manual backup of your flash drive by going to Main -> Boot Device -> Flash -> Flash Device Settings -> Flash Backup

    When we encounter a failure, what should we be doing to "retry"? Simply pressing the "Update" button or should we be retinitializing or deactivating and reactivating?

    Without fail it says "Failed to sync flash backup" for me, and it hasn't once connected, so I'm just wanting to check I'm pressing the right buttons to try and get it working.

    Thank you.
