I like to keep as many files on my cache as possible for fast access and to keep my array spun down whenever I can. I do this today with the mover tuning plugin by only running the mover once I hit 95% cache utilization and only moving flies over a certain age, but with the above feature I would be able to keep the cache exactly where I want it at all times.

If threshold is greater than %, move oldest files until threshold is under %.

[USB3 HFS+ Drive Mounted & Readable Without UD+ Plugin. How?]

Hi,

 

I have the basic Unassigned Devices plugin installed, but not the Plus Addon. Everything I've read says the add-on is necessary for Unraid to read and mount HFS+ drives. Yet, I have my USB3 mounted and readable just fine and am currently hours into copying files off of it.

 

Has something changed with Unraid or the base Unassigned Devices plugin? Happy that it's working, just can't figure out why. Any insights much appreciated.

Guess nothing has happened with this? Having the same issue and just found this thread. 🙁

 

I agree that Share minimum free space should only apply to array disks as cache pools have their own setting.

 

Any way to get an official comment from Unraid devs on this?
