Hello Everybody,
I´ve also a little stuck with a System Temp and Auto Fan Control on a B550 Taichi from Asrock. Maybe someone has already done it with this bord. The Problem is that the Fans are not shown in the “System temp” Plugin also not the NCT 6775. I think the Driver is a problem
What I’ve done until now.
reinstalled the System Temp Plugin (alot)
reinstall Nerd Pack
tipped Sensor Detect in the console and added the sensors with Mudprobe in the go file
changed Bios fan settings to every possible setting
Installed the Nuvoton NCT 6687 Driver pack
Added "append initrd=/bzroot acpi_enforce_resources=lax" in the start sequenz of the flash drive
Ask in the German forum
Googled a lot.
Attempt this workaround
asked in the Dynamx support Forum
And now here.
Would be nice, if someone has some advice and could help me. I´m realy out of ideas.

not sure why any of that is in your go file, not needed!
in system temp mlugin you need to hit save then load. then the fans should appear
Hey
The reason is that I have tried several different solutions before I ask in the forum. That's also the reason why my go file is filled with some stuff.
And Of course I tried to click save in the plugin and restart and so on. But still nothing.
15 hours ago, spl147 said:i have said this a thousand times and i'll say it again NOT EVERY board will work! support depends on hwmon. BEFORE buying a new board make sure it has support!!!
older boards will be more likely to be supported!
That's totally understandable that not every board is working. No need to pronounce it in big. Could only be that someone In the whole unraid world has the same board and an advice or an idea to help.

Schade.

2 hours ago, Sacred said:Start -> Aufn USB-Stick klicken -> Syslinux-Konfiguration -> Rohansicht umschalten -> dann das mit einfügen:
label Unraid OS NCT6775 WORKAROUND menu default kernel /bzimage append initrd=/bzroot acpi_enforce_resources=lax

-
Hallo,
Bisher Probiert:
- Plugin „System Temp“ neu Installieret (Bestimmt 10 mal)
- Nerd Pack neu installiert

In my case webUI download is not working.
I am loading the links to the left window but once I hit submit button, nothing happens.
Download via console command "tidal-dl -l https://listen.tidal.com/album/some_album" works as expected.
What I have also found is the container is not saving the settings upon restart so everytime I restart I need to go through all the settings again, Api keys, quality, etc.
There is nothing in config folder in my apps data.
All container settings are as per the instructions.
Grate work so far 😀 👍 Downloading is working but sadly also only in the console
If i try to add a link in the web ui and hit the button "submit" nothing happens.

here is no "afterwards" file. Any following backup creates only a link to the file, which was created through the first backup.
Example: If you open file.txt of backup1 and replace a single character while leaving the modification time untouched, you will overwrite file.txt in backup2, backup3, backup4..., too and if backup5 is created... it still creates only a link to file.txt as rsync checks only size and modification time of the file.
The same happens if you change file.txt of backup3. It will change the file in backup1, backup2, backup4... This is because it is the same file. There is no additional copy available.
AH ok... now i got it. Thanks for the long Explanation.
1 hour ago, mgutt said:You can't have both: Using less storage AND having multiple copies of a file.
So what can you do against file corruption? Create backups on multiple mediums or let the script create backups of the same source to multiple subdirectories. A friend of mine uses my script and swaps every now and then the USB drive. By that he has two physical copies of all his data.
That is totaly clear. And not a bad thing. The most important part is, not to change Files in the backup. I dont want to, but you never know, if exedently.

Hey, Thanks for the explanation.
2 hours ago, mgutt said:A hardlink is a link to an already existing file. If the file becomes corrupt, it's corrupt in all backups.
Does it mean thah even the Existing files in older Backups coud be crashed or only the afterwards?
2 hours ago, mgutt said:onclusion: It could be useful to create sometimes a backup with the "checksum" option. I already thought about adding this by default every 30 backups. Not sure how others think about that.
That would be realy nice to got the Option.

Hello everyone,
first thanks for the owesome script. Took me some time to get it smooth because im new at unraid an Linux, but now it’s running like a good fashion bike
But to learn a little more i would like what happened if i accidentally change a file in a Backup.
Is than only this file corrupted or even more? For example
Backup dates
20230312 - 10 files - 0 new
20230313 - 10 files -0 new- 1 changed afterwards in the backup folder at 20230315
20230314 - ???- files -1 new
20230315 - ???files - 1 new
Thanks for the information

Hello Everyone.
At the moment i´ve got an issue with "DYNAMIX AUTO FAN CONTROL"
After i´ve set up everything its working fine. But after a restart, the picked drives have changed. I´ve also recognized that the short names for the drives changes every restart (sde / sdg / etc.)
Searched a lot in the Forum but haven't found an answer for it only people with the same issue.
so Hopefully someone can help me
thanks in advance
