  1. I didn't see the comments about the script failing with 6.1+, and got the

/root/mdcmd: No such file or directory

failures so I ^C'd out of the script.  Does anyone know if I need to restore any configuration values due to prematurely exiting out of the script?

    Thx

Nothing gets changed until the very end when it asks you to change values, and then confirm. You are safe.

For what it's worth I re-downloaded the txt file in the first post, and using notepad I did a search and replace of /root/mdcmd to the new path, saved it to my flash drive and then ran the script.

...and what is the "new path" ?  :o

Can the author modify this Script for v6.1.4 please?

    Thanks  ;)

  2. I ran installplg /boot/plugins/web-Gui-latest.plg and it seemed to install.  the old web-Gui-r2.plg file is still in the folder as well as a new file called  webGui-latest.txz

    -- Sideband Samurai

    From the Github page:

If you want to download a later version of -latest than what you already have, then delete the two files first:

    cd /boot/plugins
    rm webGui-latest*
    wget --no-check-certificate https://github.com/limetech/webGui/raw/master/webGui-latest.plg
    installplg webGui-latest.plg

I can still see the mountains even after rebooting the server.

Shut them off on the display tab on the Settings page...

Is there a webgui version I can check on the webinterface?

On the bottom right hand corner of the Main page.

  3. I would like to see this new webGUI present non array/cache disks in it own section.

Ultimately I would like to replace SNAP however as a first step the GUI should show all disks connected on the homepage and not leave some hidden

I just added a new disk and reboot and it seems non array disk do actually show. So it is either the fact my first attempt was via USB or that emHTTP is not updating. Possibly both.

I just added 3 drives by stopping the array, added the drives, & restarted the array.

    No reboot necessary...  8)

  4. Hello to all,

I'm new user here, but forum is so cool :)

I have IBM M1015 and I want to use it at my PC, but when is attach my card, always have this error message "No physical memory is available at the location required for the Windows Boot Manager. The system cannot continue."

I tried so many times to flash it and still have this problem. Yesterday asked one person at eBay, which sell LSI 9240-4i, to provide me SBR to can flash my card. Today sent me the file and tried to flash and still have same problem "No physical memory is available at the location required for the Windows Boot Manager. The system cannot continue."

I share this file with you, if some one can flash this card, to can use it at normal PC, because it is not possible for me. I paid $10 for this file :) So if some one is able to explain me how to flash my IBM M1015 to normal LSI 9240-4/8i will be cool :)

P.S. Please accept my apologies for my poor English :)

  5. - I have a SeaSonic on the way.

    +1

After having various power related problems with various builds over the years --- including both my unRaid servers,

using power supplies from Corsair, Antec, Rosewill, etc.,  I started using SeaSonic X-Series Gold power supplies only.

They are more expensive, (go on sale regularly though) but in my opinion---worth it!!

I have had no power related issues with any of my 'puters since!  ;D

Just my 2 cents worth --- YMMV

  6. New addition, updated OP on the LSI MegaRAID controllers:

Convert your LSI MegaRAID controller card with LSI SAS2008 chipset to a Plain SAS2008 controller card (IT or IR mode), will look and feel like a LSI SAS9211-8i, and will be ready to use with unRAID

This is a DOS only package (I have provided everything nessasary to quickly create a DOS bootable USB key). Please read the __READMEFIRST.TXT after unzipping.

Just a quick Thank You!!! to madburg for the slick M1015 flash package.  I used this on a card last night and it worked perfectly, it really can't get much simpler.  Please keep up the great work!

Add me to the list ;D THANK YOU madburg!! I just flashed 2 M1015s with no problems.

The package makes it so simple... even I can do it 8)

    Thanks again...
