This would leave 6-8 cores for unraid and docker( some room for fun stuff i find when using unRaid)
Is there any reason why you would run Plex on a linux VM instead of the Docker one? Is there any speed improvement?

Thanks! I am using Firefox Quantum, that did the trick, never occurred to me that the browser could be to blame.

Also, one could setup the vpn client on the router and selectively route traffic to it.

Dude, this is freaking awesome, how responsive it is comparing it to the other one. I have one request, could you please add, ovpn support? I would love to be able to use it with/without a VPN connection.

It's already out, I have a couple of PCI-E host adapters and an expander. How bad would it be if use one of those 1 x1 port to 4 x16 risers? Also, do you know if the 3rd gen is supported properly by unraid?
