    Hey all,

I could really use some help here. I'm banging my head against the wall trying to fix this issue. I attempted to update nextcloud using the web gui (i know, my first mistake)

It failed on Step 7. I have tried multiple times to get past it, and nothing I do seems to work. I can no longer get into nextcloud as it's hung at the "update in process" page. Does anyone have any clue where to go from here?

    Error I'm getting:

    [✘] Delete old files failed
    core/shipped.json is not available

Update failed. To resume or retry just execute the updater again

I found other threads where people mentioned just creating the file.. but the file already exists within the /var/www/nextcloud/core directory

EDIT: Had an appdata backup from yesterday, just went ahead and restored it to get nextcloud working again. Going to leave it for today and try the upgrade again tomorrow using the recommended steps outlined in the first post.

I found a solution for my case here:

    1. download a copy of the files from the server/releases
    2. copy the `shipped.json` into the `/core` folder

Marvell controllers have not been recommended with UnRAID 6 for quite some time. Recent Linux kernels and Marvell drivers are a problematic combination, especially if you have virtualization enabled in the CPU.

Some can get them to work with kernel boot parameters or with virtualization disabled, but even if the controller/disks are recognized in UnRAID, they could randomly drop out at any time.

Sorry, I am on mobile and cannot provide more information but a search of these forums for Marvell controller problems should yield some Info. Certain controllers with LSI, ASmedia or JMicron chips are the recommended controllers.

Thanks ... yes, there is a lot of information in the forum, but most of them are 2 years old and / or with no results.

Just purchased a SI-PEX40062 Sata PCI Express card (Marvell 88SE9235) and it refuses to work with unRAID. I have some previous trouble here with a similar card, and I am my wits end getting this to work.

Numbers 02:00.0 and 07:00.0 are the card. No idea why it says 88SE9120. I have ran elkay14's script, and does not work. Looking into the script, its also looking for AHCI, which clearly is not there. I have not tried deleting this part and running the script. However, the card is absolutely running in AHCI mode.

I have a screenshot showing that my motherboard can see the drive in AHCI, and can even boot from it! However, it is too large to upload so I will omit it for now

Any ideas what I can do? I feel like I am so close, and just need a nudge in the right direction!

    EDIT:

After doing more research here on the forms, looks like I am SOL, and this card will simply not work with Linux (here and here). If someone can point me in the direction of a 4 port PCIe SATA card around $40 USD (preferably from Amazon), it would be greatly appreciated. If so, this will be the 3rd card I need to return :-(

any update with your problem? I have to buy a Marvell 88SE9215 / 88SE9235 due to budget constraints.

I too am having issues with the Marvel 88SE9215 chipset card. Similar story, the two drives I plugged into it did not show up on my array, marked as invalid. Had to plug them back into the normal SATA ports on the motherboard and reconstruct the drive for it to work again. Afraid to try it again.

I'm trying to set up this Calibre-Web docker and am using the ls.io version of the Calibre docker. I can reach the Calibre web-UI easily on my ip:8080, however I cannot reach the Calibre-Web web-UI on ip:8083. What could have gone wrong?

i am having the same problem ... has anyone solved it?
