What squid said.
I run pfsense for my firewall. no issues. and if I need to take the array down, then I power on my backup pfsense router.
What do you mean with a backup pfSense router? I also need something as a bakup. I have some Terra Black Dwarf Securepoint firewalls laying around, they run great with pfsense. How can I setup a backup router, is there any good guide that you can recommend?

Hello,
I want to virtualize my router on unRaid using pfSense. Yes, I know about the disadvantages. I already have a quad port NIC built in and sperated from unRaid using this guide:
But now I want to try the actual installation, but that doesn´t work. I created a VM with the FreeBSD template and passed through my NIC. The problem is, that it doesen´t boot from the pfSense Image, instead there only is the "UEFI Interactive Shell v2.1". Im using this Image: pfSense-CE-2.3.4-RELEASE-amd64.iso (The CD Iso installer). Normally you can press any key before to boot from the image (with Windows), but thats not the case here.

<hostdev mode='subsystem' type='pci' managed='yes'> <driver name='vfio'/> <source> <address domain='0x0000' bus='0x00' slot='0x19' function='0x0'/> </source> </hostdev>
Modify the address line entering in the two digit bus, slot, and function from your ID. So 00:19.0 translates to what I have above. My question:
How can I do this for four NIC´s? I have a quad Port NIC and want to use it in pfSense.

Just found out, the mice works on another Windows 7 PC, but the Clipboard does not.

Hello,
I have problems with the mouse support on my VM´s. It was from the beginning, but I installed them using the keyboard, so no big deal. I thought it is a driver thing, wich I will fix by installing the drivers afterwards the windows installation. My clipboard isn´t working through VNC too. I tried VNC Viewer, there the keyboard was working, but the Clipboard not. I uses multiple USB mice, no difference there...
My Setup:
unRaid Server 6.3.4
Accessing through the newest version of Firefox on Windows 10 Enterprise LTSB 2016 x64 on a Lenovo X230T
The VM´s are:
Windows 10 Enterprise LTSB 2017 x64
and
Windows Server 2012 R2 Datacenter x64
Hope for help, Im pretty new to unRaid
