I did not realize that the mysql native password functionality was being removed from mysql and would completely break nextcloud. I had thought it would continue to be something I could keep enabled.
Does anyone know a fix as my mysql docker container auto updated to 9.0 and cannot be downgraded and I can no longer use nextcloud at all, I'm not sure how to even recover my database at this point as the mysql docker will not start if I try to enable the native password plugin.

Likely solution(I use Maria for Nextcloud but this jammed me up in other containers):
Thank you!!! That was it. Been searching all evening.

Are you using MySQL and recently update it?
Yes, and yes. Both Nextcloud and MySQL auto-updated on the same day.

I've been struggling with an error ever since the most recent update. If anyone has any suggestions I'd appreciate it, I've been struggling to get to the root of this issue. I think I'm going to be disabling auto-update on docker containers...

Do the containers work? Does the WebUI in the dropdown work?
Port mappings not appearing is more or less correct as a container on a static IP has no port mappings that you can change.
The containers do not work, the web ui link opens "about:blank#blocked"

I recently tried to add a new container "Home-Assistant-Core" and while doing that I adjusted some of the static IPs on my existing containers. I don't know where I went wrong, but now cannot get any IPs or port assignments on several on my containers. I have tried both static IP via br0 and bridge, but either way I can start the container but I get nothing listed in the "Port Mapping" column on the Docker page. Within the port allocation list those containers just show "???" instead of an IP or port.
Any help appreciated.

Post your diagnostics.zip file.

My server seems to have gotten stuck repeatedly connecting/disconnecting the usb link to my Cyberpower EC850LCD ups. I've had this ups for a while and it has previously worked fine. I tried changing the usb cable, but it made no difference.
Any suggestions are appreciated, diagnostics are attached.

I currently have a machine that I've pieced together and upgraded over the years, the motherboard and CPU were taken out of a refurb lenovo machine that I got a deal on at the time. I'd like to reuse my existing full ATX case, 650W power supply and accessories (HDDs, SSDs, etc). So it would primarily be a CPU and Motherboard replacement I'd be looking for, I'd replace the ram too since the new system will probably require DDR4.
Right now I am limited by 2 ram slots/16GB limit, lack of PCIe x4 slots, lack of SATA ports on the motherboard, and the CPU is starting to show its age especially with multiple VMs going at once. I really can't do more than 1 intensive task at a time or the whole machine bogs down. Ideally I'd like a minimum of 6 motherboard SATA ports to avoid using the PCIe card for the array and cache, it will have to be an Intel system as I use the iGPU for plex transcode and I'd rather not spend the budget on a dedicated GPU.
I haven't been looking in detail at computer hardware and pricing in a while so I'm a bit out of date on what's the norm and what's current. So any advice is appreciated. Please let me know if my budget or anything seems unrealistic or if there's something I could do to future proof this upgrade as this hardware has served me well for almost 5 years given what it cost me. I'd like something that can keep me going another 5 and hopefully allow room to expand.
Budget: $600-800 (CAD)
Country: Canada
Existing Specs:
Lenovo 3098 "ThinkCentre E73 SFF" Motherboard (has 3 SATA ports)
Intel Core i5 4570
16GB DDR3 1600
JMB 585 5-port SATA PCIe x4 card (for array HDDs)
2x 512GB SATA SSDs for cache pool
3x data HDDs (6+6+3TB)
1x 6TB parity HDD
1x 500GB HDD for temporary non-array storage

I powered down and checked the cables. They seem ok visually, so I reconnected and then started up again.
The disk is online again, here is the updated diags.

I just got a notification that one of my disks has had several read/write errors. I haven't made any changes to the server recently and it's been working fine lately, so is this just a sign of this disk going bad?
I have stopped the array for now to avoid any possible further damage. I've attached my diagnostics incase anyone can offer advice. I'm thinking either I rebuild that disk on the same drive if I can be sure it is still good, otherwise I'll have to get a new replacement.
Thanks for any assistance.

Got the same error as you today. Did you manage to find what was the source of this error ?
I believe it was due to the bad SATA card. I haven't had the error come back since replacing the card, so I believe this was just left over from that.

I've been getting this message from the "Fix Common Problems" plugin. Any help would be appreciated, my server has been working fine lately but I had to replace a bad SATA card about a month ago so I'm hoping this is not related to that.
I installed the mcelog plugin and got this output:
root@unRAID:~# mcelog Hardware event. This is not a software error. The SATA card is definitely bad. I am not going to run anymore with it. The errors went out of control and I don't think there's any reason to let the read-check continue.
Does anyone have any advice on selecting a replacement SATA PCIe card to avoid this issue?
Thanks.

Diags are after rebooting so we can't see what happened but you're using a SATA port multiplier and those are a known source of problems, not surprisingly parity is connected there.
My bad, didn't realize the diags would be lost on reboot.
I moved the parity disk to another SATA controller, and I'm now letting it do a read-check. The other disks are giving a lot of SATA related errors, so I think you are correct about this PCIe SATA card (ASM1061 chipset). I noticed it seems to be running in IDE mode, would that be likely to contribute to this issue?
-
Today I moved my unraid machine to a new case and added a new SATA card (I did not add/change any drives). After getting everything running again, I found everything was working properly. VMs and docker working fine, etc. So I decided I should do a parity check just to be sure and within 15 minutes I got a "Parity disk in error state" message and the parity check stopped. I have stopped the array for now to make sure nothing else can go wrong.
I do weekly parity checks and the last one was yesterday with no errors, so I doubt there is any issues with this parity disk.
Looking for advice on how to proceed. I attached my diagnostics as I suspect the issue has something to do with me moving cases/SATA cables and not the drives themselves (I hope).

Thanks, I'll give it a try, I appreciate the PSA too. Too bad I missed it, I'll have to try to pay attention to that sub as well.
I probably should have known better, I do know auto updates are a risk, but I find even with manual updating it can be challenging to be sure you are fully aware of how apps and containers I setup over the last 10 years all interact and work together. I also sometimes feel not updating can present other risks.
