  1. hi all,

I'm running in to a problem that the wegbui of a new Unraid install becomes unreachable (sometimes I get a Nginx 500 internal server error)

I still can ssh into the server and the syslog still log to another Unraid instance (sea attachment)

Can someone give me a pointer to find a solution?

the tower has the ip-adress 192.168.3.11.

    kind regards

    syslog.log

  2. Hello,

In a new Unraid install the server won't automatic boot.

It boots up just fine until the blue screen where you can select normal, gui,memtest,.... there is a 5 sec timer but it does not count down.

A button (enter) press lets the system start without issues.

I have reviewed the syslinux.cfg file but havent found something.

    thnx Boysim

  3. Do you mean you removed the USB drive to do this?  You should never remove the USB stick from the server while it is running.  It is normally perfectly OK to make such a change on a running Unraid system as long as you do it directly on the server or over the network.

Did it over the network. Like you said I thought it wouldn’t harm the system. I also did execute the make bootable file

    Hi,

I’ve run into a problem where the flash drive of the unraid is messed up.

When booting I get the error “failed to load com32 file menu.c32.

I can still read the flash drive in an ordinary pc.

    Reason why it’s messed up.

I was removing a boot argument in the syslinux.cfg file ( on a running system) [emoji849]

I can't directly help you with your question above.

However, if you want to make using and managing Homebridge painless, including installing plugins, you should consider using the OZNU Homebridge docker.

It has Homebridge Config UI X included:

    https://www.npmjs.com/package/homebridge-config-ui-x

Community Apps > Search for "homebridge" > click "Click Here To Get More Results from DockerHub"

    Install oznu/homebridge

    Changes to Make:

    Repository: oznu/homebridge:latest

    Variables:

    /homebridge = homebridge appdata folder, ex. /mnt/cache/appdata/homebridge

    Enable UI:

    Add these variables

HOMEBRIDGE_CONFIG_UI, set to 1 to enable

HOMEBRIDGE_CONFIG_UI_PORT, set to 8080 or whatever port you want

Then you can access the UI at the configured port above.

    Thanks! All went good!

Except I would like to debug a plugin.

Normally I should use "DEBUH=Alexa* homebridge -I" to start and view the logs.

But If I run this in the Console from the docker it can't start cause the config.json in different there...

Any pointer where I should look?
