Yes, just edit the script yourself to include an appropriate tool.
Ripper contains merely an example of what to do.
gosh, I wouldn't even know where to start......

ripper?
would it support AIFF or is there another docker that would support AIFF?
-
just wondering if other file formats such as aiff could be supported? personally I do hear a difference between FLAC and AIFF

Thanks to the wonderful help from the forum I've finally got my unraid server up and running.
I'd like a recommendation though, I would like to digitise my huge library of CD's and automate that function. does anyone have a recommendation? -
Hey guys,
Recently i've setup a new Unraid Server hosting a Plex server.
Playback of a 4K HDR Remux MKV of a 55Mbps Data rate movie is presenting me with blocky artifacts.
I'm using my shield to direct play the file and its fine for 1080p content, just 4K HDR files seem to be the problem. Anyone have any input?
Things i've tried
Shield tv as plex server accessing the file via SMB, same problem
Unraid Plex server ,shield tv as client, same problem.

Use the Unassigned Devices plugin to mount it outside the array then you can copy its data to the array disks.
Since you are planning to wipe that disk's data by using it as parity, I have to ask. Do you have a backup of anything important and irreplaceable?
The data in that disk is not critical.
Thanks for the reply!
I was just worried I had to assign a parity from the get go

I'm about to build my Unraid setup, I have an existing 8tb with information and 2 more 8tb along the way.
The existing 8tb will be used as parity.
Whats the best way for me to transfer it's existing data to either of the 2 new 8tb drives?

Anyone have any idea how I can do this? I've come to enjoy digitising my blu rays and accessing it via plex. I'd like to do the same for my music collection.
I've been trying to modify "ripper" but with no success.
Edit ; I prefer aiff over flac
