Have made sure the "power on after power failure" setting is disabled / set to "stay off"? Also make sure any settings related to power on via PCI / pcie device are disabled...

Yeah. The case has some pretty heavy duty blowers by default which must force some air through, but I think the xserve case has been designed to be in an air conditioned rack in a a sound proofed room or cupboard...

Yep the backplanes were removed. I think the issue was poor airflow through the drove caddies.

I actually nodded an old apple xserve raid case into an unraid server with data drives earlier this year. I didn't bother keeping the backplane. I just used long data cables. Not as elegant but it worked OK. The real issue was heat. Even with the fans sucking the air through and some fans blowing air onto the front of the case the drives were getting up 60 degrees centigrade when active vs. 30 degrees centigrade in the case I normally used. Because of the heat issue I scraped the project and went with a 4ru antec server case I got off of eBay for $30.

Tom you should look at sales per capita and see which markets you are doing best in. I suspect it may be surprising
I was very surprised at 6% for us Aussies, Tom must have included New Zealand in the Australia total
That's because us Aussies know a good deal when we see it. ;p

No offense but why don't use a bug tracking software like Redmine, Mantis, etc? UnRAID is the only project a know that track it's bugs and features inside a forum software. Can we at least known/understand the reasons for this?

Jriver is another software company that tracks bugs through their forum.

Back on subject here...
I tried the WebGui out tonight and I notice that none of Influencers plugins (https://github.com/Influencer/UNplugged) show up in the Settings tab. Anyone else seeing this issue?
Reboot your server and they will reappear

UnRaiding an Apple Xserve RAID

I'd think twice about building an unraid server with one of these cases as I found drive temps (50 - 60C) to be an issue due to the airflow around the drives not being good. The case is designed to be in a cold air conditioner server room with powerful cooling (& noisy) fans.
