It didn't work. I even set r/w to slave.

I used the dropdowns but when I try to send the appdata to my m.2 drive, I get a "refused to connect" message.

Would "/mnt/disks/appdata/Plex-Media-Server" be the right path for what I want to do? /disks being my unassigned m.2 drive
-
Wouldn't I need to direct the plex appdata to my m.2 drive so my library info (metadata) is on my m.2 drive where I want it?
-
Is the metadata stored in the /config or the /data? I'm trying to store my library and metadata to my m.2 drive which is an unassigned drive

Every time I reboot my server, my plex acts like it's the initial setup. I have to re-add my libraries. I have the transcoding going to my ram, the appdata going to an unassigned device ( a m.2 drive) and the config going to the default the docker set. Any help would be appreciated.

I have 16gb of ram... I sent transcoding for plex to the ram. Is that not a good idea or should I just add another 16gb of ram to make up for the use for transcoding?

I went to "apps" and got the message posted below. I ran the log and it just said "undefined" and my home screen was blank except for the unraid template. "array devices" "boot device" and so on. but no drives were showing.

Squid, your post is what I needed. I got my plex up and running. But is this and issue

I was having issues with my server and plex. Long story short, when I would try to open the plex web ui, I would get "ip address refused to connect".
I ended up starting from scratch. New motherboard, cpu, ram, sas card (in IT mode), and new flash drive with a new key from unraid. I installed 3 different plex dockers and with the same result..."ip address refused to connect".
Plex is losing my library
