  1. Hi Unraid,

I have a 5TB drive that is throwing a bunch of errors. My question is, I just purchased a 12TB drive this Christmas and intended on using it to replace my current parity drive (6TB). Is there a way I can use the 12TB as the parity drive, and move the old 6TB drive to replace the failing 5TB drive (WDC_WD50EZRZ-00GZ5B1_WD-WX11D57ASCT0(sdh))? I've included my diagnostics if that helps.

    Thank you

  2. Hey LoneTraveler,

I really appreciate you taking the time to post this, as it's exactly what I am looking for. Discouragingly, I'm stuck at the very first step and my hour of searching has proven fruitless. Are you able to elaborate on how you built the docker file? Did you use Unraid's docker GUI or simply create a text file, and if so, was that file a .txt file?

    Thanks for the help

  3. Sorry to repost, but my question became mixed in the previous page.

Hi everyone, quick question about my nextcloud speed.

I setup nextcloud with nginxproxymanager(DNS cloudflare) and the external device plugin which connects to one of my shares. Everything is working great, except that when I download the files externally, I get a max download speed of 2mbps. My internet connection is 300mbps and would like help trying to figure out where my bottleneck is.

I have downloaded the speedtest docker, and through the proxy I am getting 16mbps. Locally with the speedtest docker I am breaking 250+mbps.

What speeds are other users getting?

    Thanks,

    Owen

So I have started again for the 3rd time.

I'm still unable to get this working.

Issue 1.  When linked MariaDB to Nextcloud I get a 504 timeout error.

Issue 2.  I have followed the guide to a T, lets encrypt in unable to authorise my domain.

Unfortunately, I now seem to have exceeded my limit on domain checks

    I own my own domain.

I have created the domain nextcloud.[my domain].co.uk ===> duckdns =====> my IP - this IP is correct as I have already trouble shot this using ifconfig.me

    Hey Daveo132,

I had trouble getting letsencrypt to give me a cert. I highly recommend checking out SpaceInvaders video on DNS verification with letsencrypt. I used that instead and was a lot easier.

  6. First time unraid user here. I am having trouble getting my setup started. The drive, which has been working great before a format, has become disabled with a red x beside the drive. I get the notification that the drive is disabled, followed by an error saying 3 of my drives have read errors.

I tried running xfs -L on the drive and re-seated the drive and completed a rebuild and parity check. After that, the drive becomes disabled again. I have completed a read-check on all the drives (except drive 2) and all came back with 0 read errors.

I then took an error report (see attached).

I have no important data on any of the drives.

I believe drive 2,3 and 4 are all in the same external hard drive enclosure. If this is a controller issue, how do I go about fixing it? I have tried using a different usb port for the enclosure.

    Thanks in advance.
