daniel. Posted February 6, 2021 Share Posted February 6, 2021 (edited) Hey peeps, So I have a Fujitsu Scanner FI-7160 that I use for my home that my Wife uses frequently as well. I have had it connected to my PC and have programmed the Scan button on the scanner itself to automatically scan and shoot it to a shared drive on my NAS. This has worked very well but the only inconvenience is that when I'm not here and my Wife needs to scan she needs to wake my computer up and then click the Scan button on the scanner for it to work (obviously). So, I ran a cable directly to my Unraid Server and setup a W10 VM and installed the scanner. Everything works well but the only issue is that when I click the "Scan" button on the scanner - it doesn't send the command to the VM, it doesn't register it. I can only scan if I remote into the PC and work on the GUI. Can anyone provide some help? Thank you! Edited February 6, 2021 by daniel. capitals Quote Link to comment
