Yesterday I was doing a simple copy of a dozen or so MP3 files over to the UnRaid and was doing so to the MP3 share and not the drive directly.  About 2/3 of the way thru the copy the copying stopped, the windows machine claimed the destination (unraid share) was no longer available.  The UnRaid was belly up and not reachable via the management console, telnet or anything.  Looking at it all drive lights were normal.  Since I could not do anything at this point all I had left was a power cycle.  The UnRaid would not come up however.  I put a monitor on the box to watch boot up and it would hang right after "bzroot" finished loading.  Thinking that maybe the files on the flash got messed up I re-loaded 4.2.1 but no change.  I then put in my old flash that came with the tower which was version 2.xx and it booted up just fine so that proved the hardware was OK.

I then took a look at the new flash on a windows PC, looked into the shares folder and found it empty, that to me seemed odd.  What the heck, I deleted the shares folder, put the new flash back in the UnRaid and it booted up like normal.  Thoughts anyone.....
