can anyone help with this error message after the upgrade from 4.1 to 4.2?

Doesn't seem as if anyone else has ever seen that error.  I have a few questions that *may* help you figure it out:

Does that error only appear on the console, or does it also appear in the syslog?  Were you able to view or capture a syslog?  Did a module name or any other info appear in front of the error?

Also, in upgrades prior to 4.2, all that was necessary was to copy bzimage and bzroot.  The upgrade to 4.2 versions also requires menu.c32, memtest, and a newer syslinux.cfg with some new labels.  I just want to confirm that your upgrade included them.  If you had previously edited syslinux.cfg, and tried to include your edits in the newer syslinux.cfg, you may want to check your edits for syntax/validity.

Can't think of anything else...
