System resources overload

Featured Replies

Hello all,

Can anyone possibly shed any light on what I may be doing wrong.

I have all of my running dockers pinned to use just two cores. Several more are reserved for my Windows 11 VM and unraid itself should be left with four cores. My issue however is that it would appear that these allocations are not being respected as my system has all non-isolated CPU cores pegged at 100% several times a day. This causes the system to become unresponsive for several minutes at a time.

Sabnzbd is my only container that is doing anything, however with the above CPU allocations surely this should not impact the rest of the system.

Lastly, this may or may not have any impact, but whenever I enter the "CPU Pinning page", even just to review settings and not make any changes, I get a banner at the top of the screen (until I reboot) stating; "CPU Isolation: A reboot is required to apply changes".

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
