December 24, 20214 yr So i have been playing around with unraid for some month now and I am still amazed by it. But since moving into a new house is getting closer, I would love to reset it all up but preferrably without losing my old data. To explain: 1. When i initially setup Unraid, I was not aware of how to configure shares correctly (for example that spindowns are logical and not rather random) So now I have several shares but I would like to reorganize them. Is there an automated way for unraid to do this, meaning that I do not have to move each file by hand myself? 2. Pardon my french but i f***** my Docker up pretty bad by basically overloading one container. Apparently I downloaded too much into a docker container. Anyways afterwards thx to a backup I was able to restore pretty much everything - but for example swag did not work correctly anymore and til now it doesn't really - i can't get swag to connect to the correct Docker Containers - i have to run them in individual ip adresses and adress them with their Ip to be able to accesss them from the outside: Example for what I mean: Nextcloud can not run in bridge mode but runs in br0 mode and in the nextcloud.conf I have to adress the ip adress - the name of the container just does not work. Can someone tell me why that could be? How can I fix it? Is there a way to reset Docker without losing my data i.e. nextcloud? Thank you all so much for your help and understanding. If I made a mistake please bear with me - i am just a beginner! Thank you!
