auth100488 Posted February 26, 2022 Share Posted February 26, 2022 Hi guys, I've bought myself a used PowerEdge R730xd that uses 2 x E5-2699 v3 (36 cores/72threads) and 64gb of ddr4 2133 ram. I am wondering if any of you guys have similar servers/config and would like to share some optimization / general use tips with me? I'm planning for 5x4tb + 8tb parity (+1 ssd for cache). (currently using 4x4tb no parity disk). I am hosting a plex server as well as a qbittorrent client + a couple games servers. Other hardware specific info; iDRAC is using dhcp and so are my 4 gigabits ports! They are all linked to my router using a passive 8 ports gigabit dlink switch. Thanks! Quote Link to comment
