gorbachev
Raj suggested I level one test the Biostar motherboard on my 20-drive beast. Current configuration: mobo: Biostar H55A+ LGA 1156 Intel H55 HDMI ATX (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813138281) CPU: Intel Core i3-540 Clarkdale memory: 2x2GB SDRAM DDR3 1333 (G.SKILL Ripjaws Series) drives: 6 x 2TB WDC WD20EARS (1 parity, 1 cache, 4 data disks) Supermicro AOC-SASLP-MV8 controller The Supermicro controller BIOS has been downgraded to .15, and Int13 has been disabled. I put the box together couple of weeks ago, and have been copying files over from my non-redundant hard drives (lots of external drives) until yesterday. I was doing that without a parity drive to get it going faster. I attached the parity drive to the array earlier today and it finished about an hour ago: May 6 20:33:12 unraid1 kernel: md: sync done. time=23535sec rate=83004K/sec 6.5 hours. Syslog attached. I'll try and level two test it over the next month. I'm probably going to need to buy at least one extra drive before the month is over though, so I might not be successful. syslog-2011-05-06.txt Link to comment
Rajahal
Sorry I'm so late in getting to this, it seems to have slipped by me. Your syslog looks completely normal, so please add this motherboard to the wiki's hardware compatibility page when you have a chance. Thank you very much for doing this testing. Link to comment
