I have a slack 14.2 box, installed python3, trying to build qemu (5.1.0) so I can get ppp64 on unraid.

  

./configure --target-list=ppc64-softmmu --enable-curses --disable-gtk && make

ERROR: glib-2.48 gthread-2.0 is required to compile QEMU

 

But slack has glib2 already and /usr/lib64/libgthread-2.0.so.0.4600.2

    ok so if unraid 6.9.2 is based on 14.2 then why is glib only 2.46 but qemu 5.1.0 wants 2.48:

      

    pkg-config --modversion glib-2.0
2.46.2
