It taught me RAID (failure) via a drive failure, but I never thought the whole thing would pack it in and not start. WD sucks as a backup too? I now have 4 x 6tb drives with no interface. I don't want to put them into my Unraid server (ASUS WS X570-ACE, 32GB, lsi card, whatever, I like the "new" NAS more). *-- LOOK HERE --> If you had 4 x 6tb drives that you CAN'T put in your array/server; what "USB" device might you use for a backup device? I'll admit that I've been looking at a QNAP TR-004, but I'll deny it if it's a bad thing. Thanks to everyone for reading and any comments. Mr. Grey. Quote Link to comment
