HELP - Upgraded Flash....unRAID boots but Array Status is Stopped - No Devices

Featured Replies

Title says it all.....upgraded to a new flash drive, followed the procedure on how to create the flash drive. unRAID boots up, I can login to the GUI, but the Array Status is "Stopped - No Devices." In the Main page, I only see a listing for Parity and 2 other devices (I have 5 drives so this is odd). I don't want to do anything that will kill my array since I can still boot up with my old flash drive.

I'm on 5.0b7. unMENU installed. Syslog attached.

Any help is much appreciated.  Thanks!

Your previous key is tied to the GUID of the old flash drive so even if you copied that key file over, it doesn't match the new drive and so Unraid defaults to the free (3 drive) version.

Since your old drive didn't die, you'll most likely have to purchase a new key.  Tom has been known to generate a new key for a replacement drive for free, however he's under no obligation to do so - and in this case, there's the risk that could use both drives, thereby getting a license for free.

For the immediate term, use the old drive.  You can also send an email to Tom explaining what you want to do, perhaps he'll oblige you with a replacement key.

Closing the loop on this.  Emailed Tom and he helped out.  Awesome support!
