Scripts running in foreground/background differences?

I've installed a modded fork of Rclone which allows connecting to Real-debrid via it's API.

I then set up a script to start at each boot.

Running the Script in the foreground allows me to delete files on Real-debrid

Running the script as a background task does not allow deleting

 

So how do I get Rclone to delete files whilst running as a background task?

 

I currently have Rclone in / usr/sbin (maybe it needs to be someplace else whilst running in the background)?
