SO I do not have a custom directory in my /boot running 6.12.10 , Do I need to create the directories, or am I missing something?

Do I just need to create the folders and files, and I am good?

I made a docker image to do the same: https://github.com/windix/docker-rsyncd

Probably me being dense, but how are you handling authentication? Hyperbackup requires it but your image doesn't reference setting a password.
