Why cache pool is killing my SSD?

Featured Replies

I got a Kioxia RD10 1TB nvme (400TBW). Before I attached this SSD to unraid cache pool, it served in my desktop pc , smarts showed 14TB written in total and 99% health.  However, after it served as a cache pool only for couple of months, its health reduced to 82% with only 31TB written in total. Only "system" and "domains" folder (docker and VMs) were on cache in "prefer" mode  and took 500GB space, which means half of this ssd is always empty.

My question is why my SSD's life is drained so quickly in unraid cache pool with not to much written.
