I currently use a basic PCIe SATA card (Marvell chipset) for some additional drives in my system. I've purchased an LSI SAS 9207-8i and am waiting for it to arrive. My question is pretty basic: when I swap the SATA card with the LSI card will I need to manually assign the drives to the correct Disk assignment, or will the system automatically do all this and boot without any additional work?

    UnRAID will put them in the correct slot based on their serial numbers. That said, take a pic of their locations anyway.
