Docker vdisk and Directory
Hello,
To reduce the errors/sources it would be great if Directory is set as default. Why changed/set this in the Past to vdisk?
No more problems with broken, corrupted filesystems or unnecessary memory waste and read/write operations. Also no vdisk must be mounted extra and thus also increases the performance.

In the past, the docker engine required a certain filesystem with specific options. An image was a quick way to make sure the correct options were used, without requiring an entire drive to be formatted that way.
