April 3, 20233 yr I know that XFS / unraid cannot support Alternate Data Stream which may cause file copy issue when handling such file format (from NTFS). If using other file system can resolve such issue? (e.g. btrfs)
May 6, 20233 yr I would also be interested in this. I just yet bumped into this issue and hat to Google a bit to find out the reason for my file copy problems.
May 8, 20233 yr Author I am wondering not every files have copy file issue, usually the ADS is available from the older iTunes generated files which contain such data, and most likely failed to copy "folder.jpg" file on most case. BTW, after confirmed the ADS part of file is useless, I will use some tools to remove such ADS from all files to avoid such issue occur again. But on the some commercial NAS OS such as Synology DSM, may not have such copying issue with ADS.
