Thru 2/12: Seagate 750G / 16Meg Cache - $149 - Limit 2 (Fry's)

I followed the link in the prior post referencing that this special ended on 2/7.  It must have been renewed since it now is showing active through 2/12.  Seagate has a newer version with 32M cache.  Sure would be nice if someone closes these older ones out cheap.

I ordered one last week, and another last night. 

 

I installed the first one in one of my MG-35 media players.  It is fairly quiet and just gets warm, not hot, even after spinning for 24 hours or so.  (It takes a LONG time to chkdisk, format, and then load 750 Gig's worth of movies.) 

 

Oh yes, no limit on quantity now either.
