SUPERMICRO MBD-C2SEA-O LGA 775 Intel G45 HDMI ATX Intel Motherboard Asus A78LT-M LE I will be using..... Norco 4220 Case Corsair Enthusiast Series TX650 V2 650 Watt Power Supply I would start with 6 Green 2TB drives with room for expansion. Link to comment

The Asus has an x16 and an x1 slot + 6 onboard slots, which using typical cards would give you a total of 16 high speed ports. The SuperMicro has an x16, an x4, and 2 x1 slots, which using typical cards would give you a total of 26 high speed ports. With a Norco you want to be able to expand to at least 20 ports.
