[HELP] Can a single NVME (1TB) passed through proxmox to Unraid VM at say 50/100 Gib allocation be used as cache and the rest for other stuff?

TLDR: i am just starting out!

 

I have proxmox setup with unraid and all is working fine. I have a 1TB nvme which i setup as vm storage in proxmox, but I was wondering if i can use some of that storage as cache drive in Unraid. 

 

What implications am i facing by doing this? Would it better to just dedicate an ssd or another smaller nvme for the cause?

@max7For what it's worth, I'm doing the very same under VMWare ESXi. No real issues.
