I'm trying to pass a GPU (1650S) to my Windows 10 VM. The VM starts, but I get this error: 

char device redirected to /dev/pts/1 (label charserial0)

and a no video output.

 

I'm using the iGPU on my intel CPU for Plex transcoding but the 1650S is in the main PCIe slot. I usually have an HDMI cable plugged in to my motherboard, otherwise the iGPU won't be recognized. When I don't have an HDMI cable plugged in the passthrough works just fine, but then the iGPU is not detected and can't be used...

 

How can I have both? Why is my iGPU restricting my GPU passthrough?

I tried enabling CSM support in my BIOS, and whilst something changed during boot I still can't pass the GPU through to the VM. I've binded all relevant IOMMU groups to VFIO at boot.
