August 16, 20232 yr I've recently decided to build a new server and along with that I purchased an Adaptec ASR-7805 to run the drives. While it does work I get the following text for each drive from the machine's UEFI post. "EFIBlockIOReadBlocks: LBA out of range. BlockIO-Command Failed." The card is in IT mode and I did try it on a different system, but the error didn't appear there. On both systems it otherwise seems to be working fine. I guess my question is, should I worry about the error and try to figure out why it's happening on this specific system (a Gigabyte UD x690 DDR4) go with plan B (a Perc H310 with an HP extender) or assume the Adaptec is defective and roll the dice on another one off of ebay?
